“This is a very honest shop and Reed really helped me out! I was hit by a wreckless driver who scratched the side of my car. Reed took a look and had his shop clean the sides and the scratches were miraculously removed. He didn’t charge me for this service but I will be back to get their help removing a dent that was left over. Cannot recommend this shop enough! Amazing hard working honest employees!! “I moved to the Fort Lee area 5 years ago, but still found myself going far away to visit my trusted mechanics elsewhere. It became very inefficient, and I wondered if I could find a local mechanic. I checked online reviews and found Lee Family Auto Repair. I had a great experience when I went for the first time. I drove up in the middle of the afternoon and requested an oil change. They said they could accommodate me right away, so I waited in the clean waiting area where there were complimentary beverages and snacks. I was told that the brake pads needed replacing. This was definitely not an upsell. They were looking out for me. I had forgotten that the brakes were making a sound. I asked how much and how long it would take. It sounded reasonable so I decided I would take care of that because it needed to be addressed. The work was finished quickly -- much faster than I expected (I had stepped out for errands -- the shop is located very conveniently within walking distance of Hannam, CVS, Chase, etc.). He explained that had I waited longer, I would have done more damage to the brakes and required more work. Whew! They went above and beyond when they voluntarily repositioned and secured my front bumper which had been hanging on by zip ties (I am a terrible car owner). They just did that without me asking or charging me. Such a lovely establishment. I feel very comfortable switching to Lee Family Auto Repair as my regular mechanic.”

“I had some pretty gnarly fender damage thanks to another motorist running a red light. Frankie, Stacy, Vinny and the rest of the team were straight-up artists, re-storing the fender and even matching the unusual color of my Ford Escape such that you'd never know anything happened. And were completely down-to-earth people, with down-to-earth prices, in doing so. Cannot recommend this shop enough. Hopefully you never need a body shop. But if you do, go here and don't look back.”

“The BEST car repair/auto body shot in Fort Lee, hands down. Had a flat tire and some minor body damage where the jack was improperly placed when the spare was put on at a shop in The Bronx. When I got to BGC, a tech took the tire and the owner of the shop (Effie) took a look at the body damage. For no charge he was able to pound out the dent and told me to come back when its not raining and he'd even tough up the paint. 20 minutes later the tire was repaired and back on the car. I've come in for other minor stuff in the past, and always had a good experience. Yes, you might have to wait, it can get busy. Quality of work, fairness, and reasonable price make it worth waiting.”
