The Elma Post Office is a nice small location. It is beautifully decorated for Christmas. The clerks are very helpful and friendly. It is always a pleasant experience.

Staff were ready for customers at opening time (9am). It was nice having friendly customer service greeting me and taking care of my requests. No problems (:

Great customer service, I use this Post Office for my Ebay shipping and I don't live in Elma but the friendly people are worth the drive

I come at 1:58 and the worker informs me they close at 2:00, but will attempt to "start" on my packages. She suggests I buy multiple $1.00 stamps and finally I say I'll either come back or go somewhere else. I'm still in the parking lot when I realize I left my credit card on the countertop. I call the post office and the worker confirms I left my card in the building. I ask if there is anyway I can please get my card back because I have other have errands to run, the worker refuses and says no they are closed. So, she is holding onto my card while I now have to to wait until they reopen at the 3:00. I understand the office is closed but she was in the building and it would have taken 60 seconds to hand me my credit card. Very disappointed with the unprofessional customer service provided.

I had a TERRIBLE experience at the galleria drive post office so I went to the Elma one. Karen was a delight to work with. She is very helpful, knowledgeable and professional. She is the epitome of what I wish all government employees could aspire to be.

For over a year this office has messed up delivery of packages on most occasions. Stuff a regular size mailbox so full with crushed packages, the door hangs open with everything hanging out. Left packages on top of box--in the elements 3 times. Delivered to wrong unit in building, left "could not deliver" slips because they tried to deliver to closed business in front of house. Certified mail 3 "could not deliver" slips without even coming to the door to try. Always asking me to come pick up at post office. We do have a long driveway but I'm handicapped and still manage to get to the mailbox. UPS and FedEx NEVER fail to make a delivery. If the carrier is too lazy to come to my door, I'm supposed to find a way to pick up my mail !!! Maybe this isn't the job for them. Fed up with it.
Update 10-15-18, Well they've done it again! Left a large Amazon box by the door in the pouring rain. Front door was open to sun porch, didn't even bother to ring the doorbell. Seriously! Find a desk job!

I made a huge mistake with a very important mailing and both Michael Weimer, the Facilities Optimization Coordinator on William St. and the nice young gentleman who works at the Bowen Rd. post office were incredibly kind and helpful! I am so grateful! Problem solved and the customer service was top notch!! Thank you!

Absolutely awful. Our mail person never even attempts to drop off packages. I will watch them drive by and then I get a notification that they attempted to deliver. It happens all the time. What a joke.

Unfortunately management at this location is sloppy. Often times I'm expecting a package and it supposed to be on the truck out for delivery according to tracking and it takes an extra day or two after seeing that it was out for delivery to actually receive my items, unusually high number of packages and mail not received.

This Post Office has gone from a well run Gov. branch to what seem to be the least caring, "Let's dump them on Elma" bunch of goofs you can ever imagine. Over the last 1 1/2 to 2 years my mail has been lost or misdirected more than in the previous 30 years combined. The attitude of one female employee in the office when called is that we are bothering her with questions as to where our mail is when it has been labeled as delivered to addressee but is a no show. Really? And to top this I was given the name and address of the person who received my package and was told the Post Office did their job I would have to get the item from the people that got it by mistake. This sounds crazy but is true. Today, 1/11/2018, a tracking # said my package was delivered and is now MIA. This is getting ridiculous.
