I went into GI threads this morning with my family. I wanted to let my wife shop, so I took my kids to the back corner where they had a small kids section. I figured this would be a safe spot for the kids to look at the toys and not disturb any other customers. After a few minutes of my kids looking at the toys, and playing with the fidget toys that were on display, a woman (I presume the owner or manager) came over and told me that if my kids touch the toys, they are ours. She was insinuating that I needed to buy them. I was honestly shocked - we were playing with the toys on display in the kids section and keeping very quiet. In my shock, I just went along with it, and took the 3 fidget toys to the register. I was shocked again when she rang them up - the toys were $15 a piece! So I ended up getting bullied into spending $45 on fidget toys while trying to entertain my kids.This experience was very poor. This is a vacation town, and to have that kind of response to a family with kids is not a good way to do business. Especially in a store with a kids section.After this, I asked my wife to drop the merchandise she was planning to buy and we left. I would recommend others not make my mistake and simply avoid this store. There are plenty of other options in Ellicottville that are friendlier and worth your money.

My friends and I went into this store last weekend. I was browsing the sweatshirt section and held up a youth sweatshirt to my chest. A blonde woman who worked there immediately came up to me and told me it was a "youth sweatshirt". I told her I knew that and I went to put it back which she then proceeded to tell me to give her the sweatshirt because SHE was going to fold it, as if I were incapable. Then she said that the youth sweatshirts were on one side of the rack and the adults were on the other closing with an "mk?" I was speechless and my friends and I exited the store and also 2 other girls who overheard this exchange. She was extremely rude for absolutely no reason. Unfortunately for her she would have made quite the profit off my group.

I was looking forward to visiting this shop today, but closed sign in front for a long time. Here it is 12:29pm on a Wednesday and still closed. I phoned the number that is listed online earlier and a female said opening at 11:00. I ran into a shop nearby and asked them if this store opens anytime soon. They said sometimes they open and sometimes they don’t. They’re not consistent. That’s too bad because I like to shop. But perhaps they don’t need the business!

Great place for trendy treads or souvenirs that are reasonably priced! I loved everything they have! Friendly staff and easily laid out store! Definitely check them out while visiting!
