Lordbarky like. From the moment you walk in you feel special. Great lounge while waiting for table , descent downstairs to an extraordinary dining room with exceptional architectural accents lights and wall sculpture designed from tree branches. Service quick and informed. For starters butternut squash soup with apple shavings beautifully presented and full of flavor. For dinner my party had maple glazed pork chop well seasoned and moist, others had steaks. One note although the blueberry chipotle sauce was very tasty, it was served with the steak but I would suggest offering with a chop. Creamy Spinach side was full leaves and not chopped which allows one to savor the spinach. Dessert was pumpkin cheese cake creamy texture and not too sweet. Well done - a must in the Eldred bethel area so Lordbarky likes

We went a couple months prior and had the best meal !!!!!! This time, there wasn't anything that tasted the same, and they tasted worse. They told us the chef had left. I hope they find a new chef. The meat was tough as well.

We had a great night at the Eldrid Preserve. Took our very picky brother in law. Was amazed he loved the food. Doesn't happen too often. Our waiter was new to the restaurant and was a little soft spoken but was able to have others at the table relay the specials to me . The dishes were all cooked to perfection. Would definitely recommend giving it a try.

We had a fantastic anniversary celebration. This is the second time we've been to the Eldred Preserve for our anniversary and it's becoming an annual tradition. Thank you so much!

We were a party of six. Jackie, our server had great recommendations. She and the other staff were friendly and accommodating, especially with the family's 101 year old mother and grandmother with us. . The trout, ceviche, spicy tuna, shrimp and scalloped stuffed mushrooms, pork chop and sides all outstanding.

As usual, we had a wonderful time. We brought my mother-in-law and she was overwhelmed. The experience was great. Sarah was our server and she was also fantastic. Our new favorite place.

Went with a group of 6 friends for a proposal dinner. Once we arrived the ambiance struck are eyes as we all proceed to look all around and take pictures. As we began to walk in we all were excited to order some cocktails and have a great time. Our waitress greeted us and offered us three types of water. A couple mins later she came back with our water and took our drink orders. The drinks were really good it just took about 20/30 minutes to come out. After our drinks came out our food order was taking. We ordered the spicy tuna and honey pepper chicken for apps which was delicious. For dinner my group ordered 3 chicken Parmesan which was lacking sauce on both the chicken and pasta. The French grilled pork chop, braised short ribs and the duck dish that were really and would order again. Overall I would come back just would like service to be a bit faster

I was a little unsure after reading unfavorable posts about this restaurant but my experience was among the best I've had recently. The hostess was welcoming, our waiter Matt was friendly and very efficient as well as knowledgeable about the varied menu, specials, and the wine, of which we had a recommended Unshackled Napa red. Fantastic. My husband has the salmon plated with seaweed salad. I had the special gazpacho to start, then brook trout with farro. All tasty! We shared a huge plain baked potato. We were both stuffed and had to pass on the tantalizing dessert offerings. The ambiance, with floor to (over 20 ft) ceiling windows framed the wooded preserve and pond beyond. The modern wood plank and stone interiors is meticulously designed. The complimentary bread basket included their “famous” cinnamon raisin bread. Memorable, savory experience all the way around.

We did not stay at the hotel but ate dinner at The Homestead. The grounds were very well maintained and very lovely. The restaurant was well appointed and a pleasure. Overall, the food was tasty. Now for actual critique. The place is not cheap. I ordered a NY strip. The meat came unadorned on the plate with a couple of slices of cucumber relish. Super plain. Since you eat with your eyes first, the dish is super simple and unappealing. I ordered a baked potatoe. $9 for a luke warm potatoe. Really?! The sautéed mushrooms and caramelized onions were very tasty. Also, $9. My wife ordered a halibut. Small portion and again unappealing. The service was very slow, although the place was fairly empty. Disappointing for the location and pricing. I would only recommend it with proper warning. I'm not likely going back. The owner came over. Nice guy and gave us a little history. Interesting.

Three of us had dinner and drinks in their lounge. The atmosphere is beautiful. Chairs are very comfortable and our waiter was wonderful. We had wine and margaritas. We ordered a hamburger, sliders and egg rolls. Kevin, our waiter was attentive and friendly. We will definitely be going back. I highly recommend trying it out. I wish I had taken a picture because the view is breathtaking.

The outdoor dining and atmosphere was beautiful. Apps were delicious but unfortunately our three steaks that we ordered medium rare came out medium well. Desserts were great! Service was very poor and we sat for 40 minutes waiting to be cleared after dinner to order dessert. Not the best 1st experience but will try it again as it may have been an off day.

We enjoyed the great nature with precious people, but the worst service at this restaurant ended the entire trip in ruins. Because servers aren't skilled, they can't take orders properly, food comes out infinitely late, and the food we order didn't come out... No matter how many times we call the server, they didn't even look at us. It was a very unpleasant restaurant that I never wanted to go to again. Whenever I have time, I will explain how terrible the service at this restaurant was.

Goodness me, how exquisite this establishment was. The waiters were so eloquently spoken while they discussed amongst one another. The food? WOOOOOOOO. It was good. I took a bite and I immediately felt impregnated with joy. Though I had no room for dessert, that wagyu has set me free, and released my shackles. I bid this establishment a final hurrah, and a never ending bazinga.

Delicious food. I had duck which was savory appropriately crispy and in a perfect sauce...not overwhelming but excellent. Served with sautéed spinach and wild rice. Lovely experience. Sat a table by the window . Nice view. Will definitely return
