My primary Vet referred me to VMC of CNY as he could not fit my 11 yr old cat in for a sick visit (not eating or drinking for 2 days). Not happy with my Vet, I called VMC Friday morning and received an automated message. 1. They are closed, 2. They are NOT accepting new patients (?) and 3. I could leave a voicemail, however, messages are not retrieved Friday - Sunday! If this is any indication of how their Emergency treatment operates, I'll pass!

When needing to make the hardest decision, I came here with the last minute decision to have my cat sent to Heaven. I called them before showing up and they reassured me that they can help my sweet boy and help us with aftercare. When I arrived they brought me right to a room with my sweet baby boy. They explained to me the way things would work, the services they offer, and ways to help us cope. They helped my baby get to the rainbow bridge and didn’t hesitate or judge us. 100% recommend this place. Clean, great staff.

Thank you. For your kindness, compassion, understanding and no judgment. I appreciate all that you all do, and I don’t know how you face death everyday. Arthur thanks you too. I even thank the civilian outside smoking a cigarette you said “I’m sorry for your loss”. Thank you all.

I don't usually write reviews, however, we felt compelled to after our great experience here. Our dog had a huge tumor on her side that was causing her pain and difficulty breathing. Plus, it was bleeding constantly. Dr. Hoffman and staff were able to get her in for surgery the NEXT DAY. The procedure went without any complications, and the entire staff there were very helpful and responsive. I would definitely recommend this place!

What a nightmare! I felt like I was being judged by how much money we had. Over five hundred dollars and very little accountability of help. Sad truth is if you're not wealthy. Your pets health will be unnoticed..

This place disgusts me. After reading every single 1 star review I will not hesitate to leave my opinion. I brought my dog here because she was very sick, could barely walk or eat. She had some kind of tumor or something. I believe it was cancer. But the vet acted like someone had punctured her or hit her or something. And we were like no. She doesn't even have a puncture wound. And he then asked us again if anyone hit the dog.. Like accusing us of animal abuse.200$ just to walk in the door.200$ more just tell you what could "possibly" be wrong with your pet.100$ for blood work. Not to mention they told me it would be 200$ for more testing.. without telling me what the testing would include. He quoted me 1500$ for X-rays and surgery for thousands. They overcharge. They make you afraid something is terribly wrong with your pet and you will have to pay $1000-2000$ for surgeries or more testing or put your animal down.Don't go here unless you have thousands of dollars and like knowing your animal could die here because they don't care. They really don't. They just want to charge everybody as much money as they can.Unless you know your animal needs to be put down dont go here.

Friendly staff with great customer service skills. Before going here, I called 8 places near my area for emergency services and nobody could get me in. They took good care of my cat sam and he is on the mend. I cant complain about the pricing and they were very straight forward and even worked with our budget.

We had to put our dog down, they were very empathetic and walked us through the process. It made a very tough time bearable. This was on Christmas Day.

Based on my experience, my vet sent a referral for surgery. I rec'd a thankyou for the referral, and they would be in touch. No one called after a few days,so I called them, and I was told they never rec'd the referral. ???? I was anxious for my dog's condition, and consult would be too far out to wait. I read reviews for this place and they appear to be great at euthanasia. Best reviews come from that service. Anyway, I found a local vet willing to look at my dog immediately and consulted on my dog's illness and now treating her.

Keep this in mind- this is an Emergency Hospital, so all furbabies get seen in order of priority. If you have a life threatening situation, this is the place to go!! If you're going simply to have your fur baby seen by a vet, bear in mind that the wait may be several hours, but once again... if it's life threatening, they are amazing at getting your baby seen, quickly and professionally. All staff, from the secretary, LVTs, and the DVM were both attentive and empathetic. Would use their services again, but hopefully won't have to! Thank you for taking care of our Daisy!!!
