Bought a SONY sound system. After a short while the subwoofer wouldn't work. SONY said I had to send it to United Radio under warranty. Sent it in, along with a detailed email explaining the issue. United Radio couldn't find the issue. Mailed it back to me. Contacted SONY again. Repeated this process, along with sending FOUR videos to demonstrate the issue. United Radio then said it was a frequency thing, but wrote in their assessment that nothing was wrong. So now I'm on a third round of dealing with this bs. All because they couldn't find a plain as day issue; then, instead of acknowleding they couldn't fix it, said nothing was wrong. Hence, I'm dealing with an ongoing issue for three months now. And because SONY won't do anything unless instructed to by United Radio, I'm no where near a resolution & stuck with a defective sound system until United Radio acknowledges there's an issue they can't fix.

Great communication from prior to sending my Denon AVR in for repair, through receiving an estimate, and finally shipping it back. Price was fair and the whole process took 9 days from sending it out to receiving back at my door!

This company "fixed" my car radio for $175. 3 months later I got the same error and they don't warrant their work. They said its another thing causeing speaker wire errors in my car. Mind you, they all ohm out correctly from the head unit. I put the same radio in and there is no issue. Its clear they are googling possible answers and going until the error msg goes away. They are not fixing root causes. I do not trust their work and would not send them anything else.

Stay away they are horrible to deal with and warranty is a joke. Sent a head unit out to repair and came back not working just like it went in yet they changed me as if they fixed it!

Ford has a fairly common failure on their older ACM (radio) where they try to power on and fail after a second or two. I called United Radio, to verify that they provided this type of repair service. I packed and shipped my ACM on a Monday (UPS), to arrive on Thursday. Thursday morning I received a call from the tech that was looking at my ACM. He explained that he was doing the repairs, that it would be warrantied for a year. If I wanted, he would repair it that same day, that it would ship out 2nd day UPS and I would receive it Monday. Monday afternoon, UPS delivers the ACM. I reinstall it in my Ford truck, and it worked perfectly.

I sent my Steam Deck in for repair because the screen wasn't working. I'd replaced the screen myself and it still didn't work, so I knew it wasn't actually the screen that was the issue. They finally got back to me three weeks after sending my Steam Deck to United Radio. It was going to be over $150 for them to do literally the same thing I did; replace the screen. I explained over and over again that's what I did, and they were about to do the exact same thing that didn't work before and won't work again. Even if I'm right, they will still charge me for a new screen. They treat you like a fool even when they know less than you about repairing something. It's unreal.

Terrible company shipped my headphones there under warranty and got an email saying they were being replaced. 3 days later I get a call saying it's not covered and it will cost $100, guy was not helpful at all. Guaranteed they won't respond to this because they are a garbage company...

I have sent in several Marantz receivers for repair over the years and UR has always treated me right. They communicate when they get the units, they contact me with an estimate for shipping and repairs and there are no surprises. Only one time was a unit non repairable and they simply returned me the unit for a minimal diagnostic charge.I have been able to communicate with customer service reps via either email or the phone and they have taken time to address my concerns.Even when parts are discontinued they usually can find salvage parts and warranty them for 90 days. In some cases they have even provided salvage parts at no extra cost from the main repair. Recently I had a unit repaired that had a second issue when I got it back. It was a failure in a feature that is not always used so it was understandable to miss it. I contacted customer service and they provided me with a free shipping label, they debugged the unit, made an additional repair and returned it all fee of charge. That is great customer service.UR has yet to disappoint me on a repair. They are far better to work with than the Marantz parts supplier encompass. UR is great, I now just send everything in so I don't have to deal with the disaster that is encompass parts..

Customer service and communication is horrible. Would not recommend them. Unfortunately they are the main repair place for Arcam.

11/10. I Sent in my left Joy-Con because the joystick shaft completely sheared off. From the looks of it, they might've replaced it. Either way, it works amazingly well and looks amazing, and I think that Nintendo made a great choice in hiring this repair place. Also, shout out to Nintendo Support for waiving repair and shipping costs. Amazing service, fast repair/replacement, and I'll probably be sending in my other Joy-Cons due to drift with the knowledge that this repair company won't pull a fast one or skimp out on any repairs.

If you want to get a quote, it's out of the question. Was quoted 150 for a new left ear bud but was told "that might change". Plus programming, plus freight. It was more to get 1 ear bud than buy an entire new set. How do you quote people a price that "may change"? Based on what exactly? The value only goes down on electronics. The service is so vague I guess we'll never know. If you're to the point of using these people, sometimes it's more economical to just buy a new pair

Terrible pricing. Can buy a brand new product for the price they quoted. Repair was a tiny broken piece, everything else worked. Wasted time and money sending it in. Hopefully Sony partners with a better company in the future.
