If you drive a Subaru and live or study near Ray's then you are in luck. Ray kept my daughters Outback in top shape while she was a student at Syracuse. He really knows these inside and out (30 years experience) which is handy because he can do things faster and right the first time.He is also a good guy, for example: my daughter's hood rod holder was missing and she had been using an elastic to keep the rod from bouncing onto the spinning belts. She took the car in for exhaust service and Ray saw this, found one he had 'kicking around' and installed it for her. He just did it on his own, that is how Ray rolls.Services: Exhaust

Wouldn't consider a trade. Wouldn't give numbers on his car for sale. Seemed more interested in talking up the value of his car than actually working out a deal to sell it. Seems too emotionally attached to the vehicles hes supposed to be selliing. Hung up on fact his car has low miles. Ignoring that its salvage car with mismatched body panels and paint damage. That has obviously been driven heavy city miles. Couldn't give a quote to what he wants for his car. Left frustrated he didn't even try and go over the value in his car or a test drive

Ray is a very friendly and professional mechanic. His knowledge and expertise with Subarus is impressive and he seems eager to help others understand their vehicle.

Great experience with Ray. My car needed head gaskets among other issues. Ray beat the price of everyone else, but more importantly than that he has more knowledge about Subaru's then anyone else. He unquestionably knows Subaru's better than anyone in the area, and to be frank, it's not even close. I don't say this lightly, as I needed a major repair, so I did my research into choosing the best mechanic thoroughly. So not only does Ray offer the best pricing and have the most knowledge, he also is great at communicating what your car needs and why. You will gain knowledge of your car just by speaking with him. He uses parts that are either official Subaru, made in Japan, or made in the US. Ray gave me tips for rust abatement and undercarriage longevity to prolong the life of a car in upstate NY. My car drives fantastic now, and if there is ever a need for service on my Subaru I'm going to Ray.

Called to inquire about an overheating issue and was very impressed with the time that Ray took to address my concerns. He took the car in (without an appointment) and had it diagnosed in a timely manner. Very good communication during the repair process, and had the car done the next day. Final charges were very reasonable and even though I was a first time customer, he treated me in a very friendly and personable manner. Definitely impressed!

I recently had Ray's Auto Sales & Service do major engine work on my Suburu. The dealer had quoted me $4300 for the repairs. Ray did the repairs for $2,500 and the car runs great! He used OEM parts and did exactly what he promised. I highly recommend Ray's Auto Service for anyone who owns a Suburu.

If you own a Suburu, Ray's is the place for service. Honest repairs at a much lower cost than the dealer. I highly recommend them!
