βStopped into 5 below today just to get a bob the minion duck and ended up with more then I had planned. I seen they do ear piercing there as well so I figured why not check it out. Brandon H. Was amazing. He answered all my questions. Made sure I knew exactly how to care for my ears after and made sure I had everything I needed to. And did everything with a smile even though he was busy doing his other duties in the store. He never made me feel rushed or pressured at all. Thank you Brandon you did a great job today. Who knew I'd walk in for a duck and come out with peirced ears at 5 below :) oh and I should add I have been looking around to get them done for a little while but couldn't believe how expensive it had gotten. But not at 5 below it was a 1/3 the cost there then other placed I had checked withβ

βCame down from Canada for a long weekend and dropped by this store. The staff were great and the selection was impressive. We bought mostly candy but did see a lot of thing that looked fun. We will be back.β
βShopping at Ollies' is fun! Their motto "Good stuff cheap" is right on. I am an avid reader and I have gotten a lot of good books for great prices. Going to Ollies' is an adventure! You never know what you'll find. Even their cheesey ads are fun.
I just wish there was one in Cortland! Now there is....yay!!β
βAll depends on what you are looking for but they have nice rugs and furniture for cheap plus tons of toys! They also let me bring my dog in when it was hot out which was really nice.β
βYou can tell it's an older Dollar General store, so it doesn't look as nice as the newer ones... When it's in the budget it could use a face lift. That would be my only real knock on the place. I've only been in there 3 times so far, but the staff has been exceptionally friendly! Credit the 4 stars to them!β
βI came in for a drink as I was driving by and there was a cat in the store! The employees told me they have tried taking him out many times but he just keeps opening the doors and coming back in. He's super loveable and I ended up staying longer and buying more items... unfortunately for my bank account haha. While in line, some old lady was giving the employee and hard time and said she was calling corporate to report the cat.Please don't let them take the cat from this store! I'm definitely shopping at this dollar store from now on because of this kitty. He's so adorable and made my day! There was also another older lady in line that pet the cat and took pictures of him. She was so happy too!β
βClean store, organized and employees were quick to answer me when I was trying to find something...easy to navigate, plenty of items to choose from and the employees make it a good experience while inside unlike some places I've been to over the last few months.β
βBeing downtown it is a more busy and hard to keep area but the staff stay on the challenge with their friendly attitudes and customer service. Always product available and it carries fruits and veggies as a bonus. Only bad thing is there is a wait for the line sometimes and there is some theft that ive witnessedβ
βGreat place and affordable, but to be honest, I think they need more security on premises because I did not feel safe around one customer who was very sketchy trying to hide something got mad because i was on the same aisle as him. Other than that, it's a great place to buy groceriesβ

βUsually a pleasant experience except that sometimes they are out of stock of the common things needed and the line may be long. They also may run out of bags as well so be prepared for that possibility with your reusable bags.β
βThe staff were super nice and helpful. I was looking for a Motherβs Day card after Motherβs Day and one of the staff asked me if I needed help and was able to find a card for me. The cashier was also very nice. They had a good selection and balloons were great too.β
βMiss Tina helped me find Goobers (candy) for my movie today. She didnβt even know what they were exactly, but she knew where they were! She was awesome and deserves a raise. Iβve always had good experiences at this dollar general right in my neighborhood!β
βThis is a great place for all different items. Highly recommended for snacks, clothes, candy, tools or odds and ends type of things. Good prices. They have charging cords and other hardware items. Recommended for all people and ages.β
βI'm pretty new to the store. I understand it's the holiday season but all the unpacked stock in shopping lanes was not good. The lanes in the store are very narrow. I suggest (if) you have another place to put the stock before it's put on the store shelf store it there and do one lane at a time or one dolly at a time. The customers will have an easier time getting around the store.All the employees stayed very busy shelving product up front and the cashiers were very patient as people came up front to check out. I was very happy with the customer service. I'll return after the holidays to update. There is good parking.β
βI have autism I liked to this in destiny usa I like I I bought Axe dark temptation body spray it is cheaper at the mall than Walmart Walmart whets 5 or 10$ for 2 but here at 99 cent city whets 3 some when I go to destiny usa I go to this store very timeβ
βListen, is it ghetto? Yes. Do they have what you need? Yes. You can pick up snacks on the way to work or get last-minute items for small gatherings like plates and cutlery. It's not in the worst part of town.β
βWas able to pick up everything I needed to make Valentine's Day gift bags for my children. $1.25 is a very reasonable price for items that would definitely cost more elsewhere.β

βGreat place to shop for some of their stuff is pretty expensive if you're going to pay full price for something you might as well go to one of the big stores like Target or Walmart that's just my opinionβ

Other reviewers seemed somewhat ignorant as to what was advertised, so I went in and shopped with them for myself, and CNY Rack was great! So glad I did. We saved a ton of money for our shop. βThe very nice me people gave me walking directions to a gas station, but unfortunately did not have plastic gas cans to sell me after I rolled into their parking lot with a car apparently out of gas( actually it was the alternator)β
βFamily Dollar is always a splendid experience. They consistently have stuff I need the other, more popular stores are out of. And it always costs less. And I can park without having to walk or get a shuttle a to the front door. They employees are almost always friendly & helpful. Tonight was last minute laundry supplies. I found everything including the absolutely best hangars I've ever used (I take my laundry a bit too seriously?). And I saved an extra $2 with their app! They're turning into my go-to store instead of the 3rd one down the line. Y'all can have that "W" place with it's useless "savings" card, packed, too big parking lot and store brand driven shopping. I'm goin' to Family Dollar. You should too ?!!!β

βThe prices are reasonable considering 50% look new, especially the Nike/Jordan/Adidas sneakers. If you have a child who only wants/wears the newest styles and brands...this is where you will save money and be the best parent ever!!β
