The company website is very misleading. They mark things as delivered before it’s truly delivered. Adds stress to people whom are expecting a delivery. Anything big IE. 200+lbs is obviously going to be an expensive purchase and the lack of transparency and horrible customer service makes the entire experience egregious. I would not recommend this company to anyone seeking delivery of large items as it only makes life extremely stressful.

This place is impossible to get information. I applied for a driving position two weeks ago. No preventable, or charged accidents or tickets. Never heard back from them. I tried callling and its a out of state phone number and got transferred several times trying to get the status on my application. The last transfer resulted in the call going to voicemail. In frustration, I just hung up. I also applied here several other times in the past with the same results. NEVER AGAIN!!! Although I would have preferred a home everyday position, I accepted a job today, regional, home weekly. It's impossible to get a local job in Syracuse because there are so many CDL holders that want local. I probably need to move out of state. New York sucks anyway. Edit: I found out today that the safety department decided not to move forward with my application. I think it's funny because indeed states that they are urgently hiring drivers. They won't get anyone, too picky!

Very satisfied with company, good overall communication working with the office/dispatch and driver. Priced competitively. Pleasant people as well.

Central Transport delivered a riding lawn mower and cart I had ordered from Home Depot. Rude and unprofessional are the two words I would use to describe their service. I live on a two lane paved country road. I just moved here and know that a large truck can entered and leave my long driveway. This driver refused to even attempt to back into or pull into my driveway. He deposited the crated riding lawn mower and packaged cart in my driveway approximately 4 feet from the road. He refused to move the lawnmower any further from the roadway. The cart was packaged in a thick cardboard box that was torn open. I have attempted to call twice now and have been on hold for over 30 minutes. And when someone finally did answer they could not track the order by the tracking number and "could not find my order". BAD customer "service".

Absolutely terrible experience! The company I work for has been waiting for a shipment from California to New York since the shipping date of 4/28. Originally the tracking said that it would be delivered on 5/7 which seemed reasonable. It has since changed everyday. It is now 5/13 and the shipment is still in Ohio where is has been for 3 days. This is holding up our jobs as this piece of equipment is necessary to move forward. We are incredibly unhappy with this experience!

STAY AWAY FROM THIS SHIPPING COMPANY!!! My fiance sold a piece of equipment and the buyer contracted this company for shipping. He took off work as he was given a pick up time from 11am-5pm. He received a call at 4:30pm saying the driver would not be there and would come the following day. The next day, once again, my fiance took off of work and at the very end of the day, the driver arrived. The machinery was loaded onto the truck and the driver left. A few minutes later we received a call saying they could not take the equipment due to how it was "packaged." The driver came back and made us unload the equipment. We were told we needed a larger pallet so that every piece of the equipment was on the pallet. The company was to come the following day and re-pick it up. My fiance built a larger platform, shrink wrapped the equipment, strapped it, and had it ready to go based on what he was told. Once again, the shipping company would not pick up the equipment and said it needed to be fulled "boxed" in. We have received shipments from this company that did not fit any of these standards. Absolutely ridiculous! They do not care about wasting your time! Three days off of work because they don't know what they are requiring! STAY AWAY!!!!!!!

They took wrong goods of my shipping plan. And they did not contact me until I found the mistake by myself. Then they charge me the storage fees $35.00 a day ! They never admit their mistake ! A BANDIT!

The manager is a nice guy as well as most of the drivers. But corporate will not admit to mistakes. They wrote down the wrong measurements on multiple shipments causing a reclass and almost doubling the price. They will not fix, so i will no longer do business with them. I have pictures for proof, if they fix I will update.

I love my job! Great place to work . Management is awesome. Great coworkers brand-new trucks excellent pay good benefits home everyday flexible with scheduling great start time great end time. In my opinion just a great place to work don't plan on leaving until I retire plus pay increases for good work after max pay.
