I have had the pleasure to work with Dr. Rich. He is knowledgeable, and caring and understands how much owners fall in love with their pets and provides feedback/direction/advice accordingly. My 14 1/2 year old dog (Cookie) has been struggling physically and Dr. Rich was amazing to work with. I recommend VERY HIGHLY.

My dog sees Dr. Xanthos and all of our experiences with her and all of the staff have been awesome. Everyone is truly caring, professional, and non-judgmental. My dog is a handful, but they know how to handle him and give him the best care. They're so accommodating and I feel lucky to have found them. I know he's in good hands at East Rockaway Veterinary Hospital. Dr. Xanthos came highly recommended in a Facebook group for my community and I can see why.

I had such a great experience at this vet as a new patient. I brought in my cat to be examined as she was losing weight. We met with Dr. Xanthos and she was absolutely amazing. Very compassionate, sweet and down-to-earth. She is very knowledgeable and talked through some scenarios that could possibly be behind the weight loss. Bloodwork was needed and she offered to call me with the results over the weekend, on her down-time, if they came in before Monday.
Will definitely recommend to anyone in the area who needs a Vet. Thank you again, Dr. Xanthos!

The proprietor is a very grumpy fellow who is sometimes unnecessarily condescending but is clearly hardened by years of running a small vet business. Due to his friendly staff, able techs and compassionate bedside manner with the pets, those features negate his curmudgeonly demeanor.

We use East Rockaway veterinary when we lived in the area and they were absolutely amazing to work with. They helped us through a difficult surgery, kept us up-to-date on vaccinations and general health. Years later, I reached out for some vaccination records and they were very kind and helpful even with my multiple requests. I highly recommend them and extend extreme gratitude to the front desk staff!

My brother had recommended East Rockaway Vet to me, and I have to say I've been extremely pleased with them, especially with how much they truly tend to your pets' needs. Both doctors are absolutely incredible, along with the staff. They are always very professional and welcoming to my two dogs and cat. Will 100% be a lifelong customer of theirs.

I recently brought my cat,Mellow, to see you. My experience was so 5 star that my son also brought his 2 cats, Cosmo and Celest to you too. The kindness and personal attention from all made this experience great for all of us and our best friends Mellow Cosmo and Celeste. Thank you so much. My dog had a surgery performed at this hospital and it went very well. I have been back a few times since for a follow up and other concerns because my baby is getting older and the services were absolutely amazing. From personal experience would absolutely recommend this place.
