I recently moved to the area and since being here, I've had to go to the post office 3 times. The first time, I came here, the red headed woman behind the corner was very standoffish and almost rude. It's not what she said, it's what she didn't say. It felt like being in purgatory where everything is Grey and dreary and you feel extremely uncomfortable. The 2nd time, she took my fiancé's father's day card and said that it must contain something that makes it a parcel instead of a piece of mail and that we would have to pay $5! When it was just a regular size, typical enveloped card! It had some 3D card stock which made it bulge out just a little bit (no exaggeration) and so we obviously put 3 stamps on it - bc it clearly says "extra postage needed". We were shell shocked for a second, then, My fiance said "it's just a card. We have never had this issue. You know what, I'll just take it some where else."
We went back to the post office we had gone to before we moved- on Winton Rd.- and of course, their bright, sunny personalities gave us no issues. (Bc there was none to begin with.)
I feel like this woman needs to find control wherever she possibly can. If you need a post office, go to Winton Rd. It's unlike any govnt building experience.

I keep getting mail for my neighbor. He lives in apartment 1 and I live in apartment 2. Tried calling to complain but they give you a runaround. ?

Generally really happy with the service here. However recently they have been locking doors during day saying carrier issue be back in 15 mins. Only to see 4 employees behind counter not doing anything.

It's a great little Post Office, friendly, efficient people who are always ready to help me figure out the best way to ship whatever I need to ship. But I really just wanted to post a review so I could document the day in 2021 when my 04 Buick Rendezvous was on Google Street View and Bernie's Mittens was a thing. The Google picture was from around 2018!

I love this post office and am there quite frequently. The nicest staff, they know exactly what I need and always give me great shipping advice as I run a little home business. I choose this post office over any other, and will drive here even if I happen to be near a different one. They rock!

We've switched from the Pittsford branch to here because the staff here are friendlier and accommodating. They've helped us with our transactions without getting annoyed or being judgmental.
