I have Pettis winterize my equipment every year. The technicians are always knowledgeable and courteous. Mike and Abby came this year. They were eager to answer questions and offer advice. Keep up the great work!

We purchased a hot tub in 2022; it was a pleasant purchase.We had some difficulty with it tripping shortly after installation. They came out and made a correction which lasted until now. Called them to ask for help with the issue and was told “well we came out in 2022 and fixed it so it’s not the hot tub it’s electrical. “ Umm okay but we still need help fixing the problem on a 2 year old product. It would have been nice if they said sorry you’re having issues and here’s a number of an electrician who might be helpful. Happy to make the sale but you’re on your own when something goes wrong.

This has been a poor experience. We had a number of services performed by Pettis.
-Installation of a handrail on the steps into our pool. Handrail was well installed. Would I recommend Pettis to a friend for handrail installation? Yes.
-Refinishing our steps into the pool. Looks 100 times better than it did. Would I recommend Pettis to refinish your steps? No...the bad starts here. Their team does not clean up after themselves.
-New Pool Liner. The new liner looks great. Would I recommend Pettis install your liner. ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! My wife is out cleaning the pool deck now. The Pettis team used our hose and sprayed the pieces of new and old pool liner into our grass, and the edge of our gardens. They used a sand product to level the surface before putting the new liner in place. That sand product was all over the pool deck and in the pool over the new liner. Our driveway has this sand. I mowed the front lawn today and found more of the old pool liner on the front lawn. The final straw here...they didn't remove the old pool liner. They left it at my curb in piled on top of (2) cardboard boxes. The old pool liner pieces were wet and had this wet sand product on them. The weight of those 2 cardboard boxes with wet pool liner PILED on top was more than any human could lift. It took me an hour today to cut the pieces up and stuff as much as I could into my (2) 96 gallon totes. Total Total these services came to $7826. The liner looks great, but no. I would NOT recommend Pettis to a friend for pool liner installation. Did I speak with Pettis about this? Yes I did, and I paid my bill. It doesn't change the meat of this review.

THANK YOU to Nickole from the Hilton location who went above and beyond over the course of several days to work with me both over the phone and in person to rectify a few issues after our in-ground pool was opened for the season. We started our pool search last fall, went to all of the areas pool stores. We asked a ton of questions, reviewed all of our options and ultimately landed at Pettis. It really and truly started with Blaine our sales rep. He was easy to talk to, not pushy and answered ALL of our questions with patients and grace. He knew immediately we were new to this and unlike some other companies, he listened and gave us his undivided attention.
Secondly, like most things in life it came down to cost. We compared our quotes to the other companies, and Pettis had the greatest overall value by a long shot. One company laughed when I told him what I was quoted. The told me I must have been mistaken.
Thirdly, and I suppose separately because they are a different company, but installation. Taylor, from Legacy Pools was amazing. He had to deal with a rather rocky yard, a pop up down pour and he and his team handled it with ease! He was respectful, responsive and great to work with. His communication was spot on and made the process easy. Very professional.
Lastly, the service of the store AFTER purchase. Something most companies forget about considering they already have you money. Highly recommend pool school with Karen, soooo informative. I was anxious about the whole thing. She takes the guess work out of the chemicals, the filter and vacuuming. I walked in not knowing a thing, and walked out feeling comfortable that I could maintain my pool. In addition, the staff in store are great. Every time I've gone in, OR , called with a question they are so helpful.
We are so happy with our purchase, and the entire experience. We highly recommend these folks for your pool needs.

We have been dealing with Mike (logistics manager) for our pool installation and he has been nothing but considerate, kind and professional. I would definitely recommend pettis to friends and family! They have outstanding staff , go above and beyond for their customers and have been on time with everything along the way . They’ve made the process of buying a pool super easy and affordable . I was told that these companies chess-play with the customers and dont believe it until now, these guys just let me down at the last minute! we agreed a sand change of my filter LAST YEAR! because they have booked, so we scehduled at the beginning of this year, they called me on February to confirm and I say yes! lets do it! By then they have already photo of my filter and they said is not common for them but, they said they can do it! When the technician called me on the scheduled date, he asked me where the sand supposed to be dropped, i said i was ignorant and if it is ok to put it in the trash can, he didn’t say a problem but, sounds disappointed/upset, i wasnt at home when he arrived but my wife was there, he didn’t even touch the system and, i just received a sms saying that the technicians were trying to change but the system was ‘different’ (?) not sure whta does that mean honestly, why wait until that day ro let me know . In any case, they charged me 300 and they said for my system be addressed they want now 900!! So, they keeping telling me the technician try to do something but couldn’t, which is not true and, gimme very professional high technical reasons for let me down. My inside is, quite honestly that, the technician (Tony) preferred to spend 2hrs opening pools and make 400 (im making the numbers) rather than spend it in changing my filter AND carrying 200 pounds of sand to the grbage can. At the end my problem is money yes, but more than that, the timing for me to look for someone (in opening season) to do my stuff, no way I would find someone right now!! I wouldn’t expect my local company treated me like this, but i guess business is business and customers always always hold it. Hope this formula doesn’t harm them because clearly is not a win-win.P.S as of today, my money hasn’t been reimbursed yet.
