Back in October of 2023, we smacked a deer and did a substantial amount of damage to our pickup truck. As a loyal Ide customer of over 30 years, I sent the truck to Ide Collision - BIG MISTAKE. It took them over 14 weeks to get everything done, the majority of that time the truck sat with no one doing anything to repair it. Not only will I never use the collision shop, Ide Honda didn't respond to an email I sent them to see about a loaner while their collision shop sat on my truck. Sorry Ide, when I replace my pickup soon, I won't be stopping in.

Returned the car in good condition, detailed inside and out, and everything in working order. Communication was good with emails and phone calls. Took longer than antispated, but that was mostly due to two additional supplement approvals needed from insurance. Also, car was returned needing washer fluid. But I'd recommend and use them again.

I own a 2003 Honda Element with 234,700 miles! The driver side door hinges were all rusted and the door would not close. My two garages would not fix it "the parts are not available anymore" Ide Collision totally fixed it, replacing the hinges and even fixed the internal door damage I created from slamming it. All better now! Thank you Chris and your team.

I would highly recommend going elsewhere if you would like quality work performed on your vehicle. Ide Collision Center WAS a great place to go to that you could depend on for quality work when Tom Fogg was the manager. Now that Chris Bishop is the manager the place has gone down hill very fast. From attempting to get the quote all the way to job completion was not a good experience. The work that was performed was sloppy and not checked prior to calling us to pick up the vehicle. Chris had no issue though letting us know that he would really like it if we could come pay prior to 4 pm even though they don’t close until 5 pm. He could care less about the customer, the work that was done and the time he wasted of myself, my husband and even my father that had to come down because of the sloppy work that was done was absolutely unacceptable and ridiculous. When Tom was manager he took pride in the work that was done. Chris not so much. I don’t think it’s unreasonable to expect Chris since he is the manager or someone working there to actually take a look at the car prior to wanting customers to leave their jobs to hurry over to the shop to pick up and pay by the 4pm time he prefers payments by. When trying to express that and point out the different issues to Chris I was cut off constantly and had to actually ask him to stop interrupting me. Instead of owning the fact that the car was obviously not looked at since there was what he called over spray all over the hood of my sons vehicle but also approximately 8 spots sticking out in the paint job that was done. If that wasn’t enough the fender was not lined up properly and Chris tried to insist that it appeared that way due to the sun hitting it the way I was looking at it. Chris was rude and extremely disrespectful to me because I wasn’t just accepting all of his excuses that he came up with. Chris was busy playing the company guy and trying to cover for whoever did the sloppy work and gave excuse after excuse. I wasted close to four hours there today away from my responsibilities going back and forth with Chris. My husband took two hours away from his job before having to leave for a meeting. It truly saddens me as a customer of Ide in general. We have been purchasing and leasing vehicles from them for close to 20 years and always recommend Ide to all of our family and friends. Prior to today we had great experiences and fond memories of the staff. We still talk about Alex and how great he was and looked forward to seeing him each time we wanted a new car. We were actually sad when he retired. We also can’t say enough great things about Jim Milella the service advisor at the Ide dealership. He goes above and beyond and is always kind and has never ever treated myself, my husband or my kids that have gone in for service with anything but respect and honesty. We have had our vehicles taken care of at Ide Collision many times. It’s a shame that Tom is gone and that the quality of work done at the shop left with him. I should have listened to my gut feeling when Ide collision couldn’t even provide us with an estimate with the correct paint color on it even after being asked to correct it for our records and went elsewhere but when we are used to dealing with amazing employees like Jim Milella always providing exemplary customer service and Alex Peterman, Rick Damico and Tom Storm before they left we decided to give Ide Collision the benefit of the doubt. Boy was that a terrible idea. We were just getting ready to upgrade our 2020 pilot next month but I will not be returning to Ide for anything if employees like Chris Bishop work there.Services: Painting

Great experience with Ide Collision. After an unfortunate run-in with a deer in Canandaigua in June, Ide quickly restored my Honda Ridgeline back to like-new condition. Thank you!

We chose IDE COLLISION to repair our Honda CRV after an altercation with a number of deer which in moments did about $7K of damage to the vehicle. The deer all ran off - the CRV was we think the worst casualty. Chris Bishop who runs the shop was stellar in making certain everything was in place and in perfect working order. His colleague Amanda, at the front desk reception area, attended to my every question and detail over the course of the repair. My experience with IDE Collision was exceptional in a day and age where stellar service is a rarity. Bravo to Chris and his team.Very happy clients.James and Kathleen NOntario NYServices: Electrical

I recently had work done at IDE on my ‘22 Tiguan after hitting a deer. At first, I was very frustrated with the poor communication with the body shop, however shortly thereafter a new manager (Chris) took over operations. Chris was nothing but professional and communicative from that point forward, and I could tell that my vehicle was a priority to him and IDE collision as a whole. Even after completing the repairs after the accident, he buffed out all the minor scratches on my car free of charge, and paid for the price difference of the aftermarket to OEM hood because of the frustration I felt in the early stages of working with them. If there ever was a body shop that know how to treat customers who care correctly, it’s this one. If I ever need any more work done on my vehicles I know where I’ll be taking them.Service: Body & Trim

I'm very picky about my car so when a dog scratched my brand new CR-V I went to Ide Collision to see what they could do. They tried buffing out the scratch but I could still see it so I went back again. They were very patient with me and even gave me a quote to repaint the door. I waited a bit because I was trying to deal with it. Then I had someone bumper brush my car in a parking lot. So back I went. Not only did they buff out that for free but they touched up the door again. I was very happy with the result. The time between the door incident and the bumper were months apart. The manager, Chris Bishop, was extremely professional and patient with my numerous emails, phone calls, and visits. He made me feel 110% better in the fact that a) I'm the ONLY one who will notice the minute scratches on the car and b) made some very good suggestions as to how I can fill in some of the rock nicks that occur on from driving on the expresswayAll-in-all I'm very pleased with Ide Collision. They could have taken close to $1000 to paint my door easily. However, Chris had his team take the time to do a quick buff that fixed 95% of the issue for me so that it looks just like new. That being said, they are NOT there to just take your money and offer fixes you don't need. Their prices are actually very reasonable and the people that work there are pleasant and professional. If ever I DO end up needing body work (knock on wood that I don't) I will be more than comfortable taking my car here for repairs.Service: Body & Trim
