Terrible service, the woman who serves is not friendly

This is probably the worst post office. I’ve bit my tongue writing a review but every time I come, there’s an attitude from the staff. I went on September 18th to mail out a small envelope package. I got there and staff was in the back room- I ring the bell and a middle aged black woman came out like she was annoyed I rang it. I told her I wanted to mail something out and she looks at the envelope and looks at me and goes “…okay” and just stares at me like I did something wrong. So I said “okay?” And she stamps it again and throws it with the other mail. No receipt, no tracking. Nothing. Crazy that you had to do your job that took like 30 seconds. This place actually sucks and needs better workers. If you don’t like where you work, it’s simple. Leave. Hope my piece isn’t lost somewhere cause of her negligence.

Middle age black woman working at this location was unbelievably rude to me. She was being “smart” with me the entire time, trying to make me feel dumb for something I was right about the whole time. On top of this, I had to wait a few minutes for someone to even notice I was waiting because they were in the back room talking and laughing. When she came out from the back she said “oh!” as if she was surprised to see me waiting there. I’ll only be going to the Westhampton PO from now on, where they are super nice & helpful 100% of the time.

I love this place. It’s your quintessential small town post office. Everyone has always been very helpful and they even have beautiful plants and flowers out front.

I've come to this post office twice. Each time I came it was empty and the staff was super slow. My last time there I was the only customer inside and I could hear the employees in the back laughing and conversing loudly and nobody was in the front. I rang the bell at the front desk, in which someone screams from the back "We'll be right with you". They continued to laugh in the back with their conversation. I actually had to leave and go to a different post office because after 3-5 minutes nobody ever came up front. As a post office, it's clearly ran super unprofessional/poorly and its an embarrassment to the community. Personally, I'll never use this post office again.

I will never mail.anything in this pist office. Wed. In the post officeThe clerk took my card I needed a stamp she put the stamp.on it hopefully she put in the right basket was going to florida By Monday not there.

Very rude service by one employee on a Saturday, who might reconsider working in public service. She walked out of the back room to the front service area, stood to the left of the window, looked at her cell phone for 1-2 minutes while I stood at the window thinking she must be off work because she neither made eye contact or asked if I needed assistance. Finally I asked if she was available to which she replied, “I’m waiting for you.” Then she informed me the svce I was asking about cost 26.95. When I told her I paid 16.00 for it one month prior, she said I was wrong, that may have been the price years ago. Then she kept telling me to complete my package away from the window so she could assist the next customer, which only extended and escalated the situation. Then she refused to take my package. Proof below what I paid for overnight delivery to NYC. Will be contacting East Quogue Post Master tomorrow.

Went in.. young girl, so rude.. attitude.. I said hello… no response.. said goodbye… no response.. I never write a bad review, but this person deserved one… never go there again!! The absolute rudest person!!!

Passport service is not good I normally work saturdays. I had an appointment last Saturday and they canceled it. I had a appointment on this Saturday they canceled it again. So I lost 2 Saturday’s work on this pandemic. The reason was lady who does the passport service is not working Saturdays they said. Last week reason was she was sick. So I rather not go east quogue post office for passport service

I use this post office a lot and have always received good service. That has changed in the last 6 months or so ago and I no longer like going to the counter. There is a young woman working there now, perhaps mid twenties or so, who is one of the rudest people I have ever encountered in my happy little town. She treats both customers and her coworkers with disdain which has not gone unnoticed by the community at large.I do plan to be using UPS going forward. I have been meaning to write this review for months.Luckily I now have the time, many don't. Will be contacting the postmaster next.

Staff can be quite nasty and return packages and mail to sender if there is one little thing wrong with the address, even though the information is there. Sometimes I swear they are just being vindictive.
