The young manager was super nasty and aggressive. Never had such a bad experience at a donation organization

They are the best. I couldn’t get any organization to take a never used crib and mattress. They happily took it and thanked me. I have brought clothes donations to them before. Remember they don’t collect your stuff for a profit like savers does. They do it to help people.

I went here for the first time last week. The people who work there are lovely, very friendly and helpful. It is small and a bit cramped but no worries, I don't mind that in a thrift shop (especially one that is for a good cause!). Clothes are very cheap here, much more so than in some of the other thrift stores on Long Island. The selection isn't big (because the space isn't) but there are good deals to be found. Even shoes are cheap. I was looking for housewares, and I scored a full set of very nice vintage dishes for $50! It even included serving platters. They wrapped and boxed them for me, too. I recommend this place if you're willing to dig. Nice staff, good cause, and an interesting mix of items. You might not find something every time, but like with all places if you check in periodically I think you are sure to find things you like at a good price.

I would totally give this thrift shop a five but what’s stopping me is unfortunately they are starting to become more pricey it used to be $3 and$2 on Tuesdays for clothing etc and I believe $1.50 on Wednesday but now I’m starting to see $5 $8 and $10 clothing items I guess because it’s “new” but still it’s losing it’s starting to lose its thrifty feel to it people go there because they have been cheap but it’s slowly starting to become like a Salvation Army vibe where they will eventually be overpriced for used and free donated items another situation I witnessed was one of the cashiers with glasses and short grey hair assumed a little girl who looked about 9yrs spoke Spanish because she “looked” Spanish paid $10 and still was short another .89 cents and had one more dollar on hand the cashier assumed the little girl didn’t understand English then said 89 cents in Spanish the little girl gave her the dollar clearly the child just didn’t hear her and her mother was sweet and told the little not to feel uncomfortable for the assumption being made and her mother spoke fluent English as well as the little girl I just felt bad that people make assumptions based on looks bc I saw the child feel uncomfortable but the mother was so calm and handled it elegantly other than that the staff is lovely and usually very sweet the men who handle the deliveries are very kind and funny as well

Always a pleasure working with Debbie, Brittany and all the other staff at Angels! They do fantastic things for the community. From fundraisers for Avery Joy to thanksgiving dinner and everything in between. If you are reading this please support angels of Long Island!

The volunteers here are wonderful. A lot of clothing, housewares, appliances, bedding, decor. They have different sales each day too. Worth a stop.

Angles is the long island leading philosophy and community service worker's and servants. Every place turned me down and treated me like less. However, Angles make you feel like a friend and someone cared about...

Asking for help isn't easy... Normally, Unless you're in this space. Debbie and Brittany never let down. Whether it's been scrubs to start a new job, clothes for a child I was fostering that came with nothing, or a Christmas I couldn't have made possible without this place. We rise by lifting others, thank you for always lifting me up and holding me right when I need/needed it. 143 ?
