I live at Fairfields by Peconic Bay MC and no parking spots at night so I parked at the next door Fine Fair parking lot where we are allowed to park in a certain row. There were no spots so I went into a small spot in a corner not to bother anyone and sure enough this new Turning Wheels Towing came before midnight and took my car 3 blocks down to their location being the recently opened car dealership across from Speedway in Riverhead. They told me I owed them $600 IN CASH if I wanted my car!!!! I called around to other nearby (ie Southold) towing places and they said that was ludicrous because they would charge $275 and that I should make a claim to the Riverhead PD which I intend to do. Really seemed shady.

A scam company does not respond and the address is wrong, they put an address and the cars are in another place and in their parking lot they do not have cars where one is supposed to pick them up?

Horrible company don’t waste your time! They don’t answer the phone or return phone calls and messages, call Elite they will take care of you and not leave you waiting.

Watched the tow truck driver steal a BMW out of a parking lot last night and slam into it as well as the curb. Have a video as well

Completely scam and ripoff company. $750 for a vehicle to be released after FOUR hours. Did not answer the phone. Had to come to the lot and speak to his landlord in order to contact him. COMPLETE SCAM AND RIPOFF.

My experience with Kurt from Turning Wheels was amazing! Kurt was heaven sent! We lost the keys to our rental and needed towing services. Kurt (Turning Wheels) kept us informed of his ETA at all times, explained every step of the process, and also (which he did not need to) contacted the car rental emergency services line, to ensure that we were safe (it was dark and rainy) and got a ride home. He took pictures of the pickup to give us peace of mind. Great service, communication and humanity! I would recommend to anyone! Thank you so, so much Kurt! Worst company in New York. Owner is a thief and very unstable. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!! I currently have a claim against this company for stealing money that doesn’t belong to him. Don’t fall for the charm! Who steals money from a child. SMH

Jay was patient once he was assigned to me it said btwn 1130pm and 1215am I called him and explained I had my toddler he came earlier than time even waited to see if it was something else besides starter he was very helpful and even offered to send me a mechanic.
