Professional staff that actually greets you with a smile. Huge improvement from my experience at other post offices. The other ones were like robots, saying NEXT, and nothing else. I had heard about East Meadow years ago, I visited the Pearle Vision store, and as a veteran, to NUMC where they have a clinic for veterans, and nowhere else until I moved here. First impression: it's QUIET, and everyone is polite. I thought I was dreaming, but it hasn't changed from my first impression and I have been here for 18 months. It just keeps getting better all the time. Wow!

Definitely not getting my mail everyday. I'm lucky if I get it every other day. Half the time it's not even my mail.. So I wonder where my mail is being delivered.

I’m a firm believer in treating people with respect and kindness. Doing so, fully displays how you were raised and the values instilled in you by those who raised you. Sad to say that is not the case for all. We were poorly treated at this location on 1/31/25 by John who was assisting with a passport application. We got there about 10 minutes late and when he walked in the booth already with an attitude his first question was what time is your appointment. We answered and he quickly stated with a demeaning tone that he couldn’t do anything about it. We were late and there was another person already waiting. Said person realized what was happening and kindly said they’ were fine with us proceeding with our application. John then proceeded to ask for additional documents. I left my husband, went home to gather the paperwork requested to return and be told that we didn’t need the document I was sent home to gather. Ridiculous, right? I absolutely told him off. This is a job where you deal with the general public and the least one can do is show respect and kindness. Thankfully, Vanessa took over and completed the application. We thank her for elevating the negative experience and hope that John does better in the future. In life, you reap what you sow. If and when you’re hurting, that does not give you the right to walk in destruction.

Very bad service, the employee who assists with passports is very rude and foul-mouthed. I made an appointment online and she did not want to assist me. On the website it says that you can come walking or make appointments and they always give me problems. They are racist. There is no way that one can talk to them.

High 5 on super fast shipping. My relatives received their packages in 2 days in California. Customer services polite and efficient. I want to thank all of you at the post office for such professionalism. BRAVO 👏

Went to get my passport for the first time. Vanessa who helped me through the process was very helpful and respectful. If you go to this post office for any services go see Vanessa she’s the best.

Not bad customer service if u go in person but the 2 stars is because they NEVER answer the phone no matter what time you call , always a busy signal… I complained about it in person and the woman at the front shrugged her shoulders, answer the phone!!!

Bad customer service, I never got this kind of service from other USPS such as Roslyn, great neck or garden city, the cleaning lady keep saying "we are not open, we are not open", at the same time I never said I want to go in, I was asking for a small piece of tape when I saw they have it on their table, it only take them less than 5 sec to get that tape for me while I already used the machine outside. For a service business like this and if im their store manager, I would fire or write them up already. Please show your smile to your customers in the morning and say "how can I help you?" Instead of "we are not open"

Always efficient service. Some people that work here are very sweet, others are less engaging. Sometimes there's only 1 person checking packages in. Hopefully they give their employees hours.
