This bank is excellent for loans and is always fast to receive the money. From what I've seen, the rates are the best. I've had 2 boat loans and a car loan here. And have recommended it to many people.

Finally closed out my account.Because of the dormant status they charged me $6 each month since last year.Many other local banks in nassau county don't screw their customers like this and take your money.Unbelievable and the shrewd customer service reps in east meadow...goodbye taking my $$$ elsewhere. Take my advice and shop somewhere else it's YOUR $$$!

I am super annoyed with the credit union after the revamp. You can no longer gain access to the ATM when the bank is closed due to \\\"homeless activity.\\\" How is this our problem????? Now we can't get access to our own monies 24hrs daily!! RIDICULOUS. A solution is to hire security. You could afford new swanky ITM/ATMS but not security. I don't believe that for a second.

The new mobile banking platform only allows one joint owner to handle the account so you have to share a login and only that one phone can get the code. "Hi honey, I know you are in the middle of a business meeting but can you give me the code on your phone from the bank again?" Welcome to the 1940s again. Also they keep restricting how much you can spend on point of sale transactions. Don't go shopping too much, you can only spend $1500 of your own money each day. They need to learn they are a bank, not a parent.

Cannot go in the atm except during business hoursCannot have your account credited after 2pm unless you use the teller (which is a long wait and they take people out of order)Check clearing times are longer than any of the other banks I’ve used.Most difficult experience with mobile depositsA very inconvenient bank indeed!

Limited access to ATM's... Last time I was there on Saturday before 1, they were already closed and said no access to ATM's because ,and I quote, "homeless people"....they wasted all this money for security features to isolate the vestibule and have access only by card and now I can't even use the ATMs... Garbage

I totally loved the credit union, until they revamped…… It is so frustrating that the East Meadow branch does not have ATM after hours. They say it’s due to the homeless thats so insane!!! PLEASE!!!! Also Saturday October 8th, I ran to the branch to deposit money 45 minutes before closing and they were closed!!!! There was no explanation anywhere if why!!!!!!! The convenience of 24 hour banking has been just a total inconvenience!!!!! This really needs to changed!!!! I usually wouldn’t put a review like this, but I am at my wits end with frustration!!!!!

This place no longer feels like a credit union! Go somewhere else. I have. They charge for everything now. You can't get anyone on the phone. I had an account there for 30 years and they are no longer a good place to bank.

My wife passed away in June of 2019. My sons are the beneficiaries on her account. And I certainly agree with security. However, one son lives out of state and another works construction on bridges. They have still not received the balance of the monies due from her account. Apparently a form is missing and NO ONE has ever reached out to pass this information along. Spoke with the Branch Manager of their headquarters branch in East Meadow NY. Rude and arrogant. When asked to speak with his superior 9(and really - just about anyone would be superior to him) I was told that Oh! She's on Vacation. When asked for her phone number it would not be supplied, only an email address. Once my first son filled out the paperwork to receive his half of the funds - the bank stopped paying interest on the funds in the account. Neither would they send my son his share of the money in the account until they receive the missing document from the other son. No one from the bank ever reached out after almost year to advise anything was missing. Worst financial institution we have ever dealt with. Incompetent and rude. Do not even deserve a single star. I guess they are allowed that since they have spelled their name correctly.

Nassau Financial has hired DeGiamo group to build their corporate office in East Meadow. DeGiamo group is a sub-standard contractor who exploits their workers from wages & benefits. Also they refuse to pay proper area standards set by the N.Y.S Department of Labor. Shame on you Nassau Financial for destroying the middle class!

Just closed on refinance and can not say enough about Joshua Kirsch and the team at the credit union. From inquiry to application to closing the loan he was knowledgeable, professional and perhaps most importantly responsive. I have closed on four homes and two refinances and this was by far the best experience. Highly recommend!!
