I have been going here off and on for a year and half. Some providers are better than others. No time is spent on nutrition and exercise from my current provider. I have asked to see a physician but told that they are booked up and then I sent to a NP. They don’t want to work with insurance once you lose weight. I was told by Alyssa that I am now coming for cosmetic reasons since I am no longer obese. obesity is a medical disorder that does not stop once you meet your goal. I am continue to come because I need a prescription to get Zepbound. During my last few visits I am not asked anything about medication. No blood work is taken to make sure there are no medical side effects from the medication. I have a new insurance and asked the provider can they do preauthorization for the medication. I was told that she does not do it but another person in the office does it. I was told they could not waste their time because the insurances don’t want to cover the medication. I feel this office has become a prescription mill.

Unless you dress in Drag, or you cross dress, or you tape on a wig. Cause if you go as you are and you are going for weight loss as a male/man. You will not get any results at all. You will get Zero attention cause they do not cater or care for the male patient. I went for several months and it is not a place for men. I felt absolutely isolated and felt left alone. Female orientated place of business. While I was there they lost my chart, continued to have problems sending in my Rx, and then sent in the wrong strength for my weight loss med. Within the next two months that I set myself free from that place. I lost 22 pounds. Guys don't give up, and don't look back. You can do it and you don't need that place.

I am beyond happy with the care I get from Dr. G and the staff at LIWLI. My results are jaw dropping. Down over 100 pounds in one and a half years with them. Thank you for changing my life and giving me my health back!!

They have 0 concern for the patients. They are just after money. Charge $100.00 if you miss an appointment. No call to see the reason or give options. Sorry but is sad

I’m not happy with how things turning around here! It’s ridiculous to schedule follow up appt, I have a one month supply of meds but no appt for next 2 month! Also when I come to my appt I often wait up to 40 min to be seen by my PA and I can almost guarantee that they weren’t seeing any patient during my wait time! They just had me waiting out there until they were ready! I’m looking for a new clinic!

My wife and I made an appointment that we waited months for (July 3rd). As we approached the date, we were notified that the doctor chose to close that Monday for the Holiday weekend. Which we understand, who does not want the long weekend.What is horrible is that they made no attempt to make up for the last minute cancellation and told us the next appointment was another two months later.What horrible treatment of a potential customer.You cancel an appointment on who knows how many customers to get an extra day off and then do not have the decency to try and make it up. Stay late one day, come in early, squeeze someone in. Make it right with your client.

Let me start off by saying this place is amazing. Last year I was introduced to the weight lost clinic by a friend, I was skeptic but I wanted to give it a try. I use to go to the gym four nights per week working out a hour at night. I was 377 pound I lost weight I gain it back, I was so depress I stress eat, wear joggers because I didn't like how I look in regular clothes and my belt (largest one i could find) couldnt fit. I didnt have any energy or feel like i wanted to do anything than just sit around because i thought nothing would work other than surgery and i didnt want to do that. I attend the weight loss at east meadow the 13 of September 2022 and today date I can say I am 296.7 pound. Doctor Andre Giannakopoulos awesome MD he took his time, educate and walk me through my weight lost journey. All staff and doctor at the East meadow branch phenomenal. I have alot more confident, I have a lot more energy, I feel so comfortable putting on regular clothes, don't have that low self esteem anymore and the journey so far has been fun. Being healthy was one of my main priorities to lose weight for my kids and I owe it all to the long island weight loss institute and Dr Andre Giannakopoulos an his team.

I have been a patient for almost 5 years. The staff is wonderful, especially Melissa M. who is always extremely helpful and polite. I have had much success in my weight loss journey and would recommend anyone looking for help to try them out!

I have had nothing but a wonderful experience at this office. I have lost 30lbs and still going. Nicole at the front desk is always super helpful when making appointments and dealing with my insurance, etc. The back office staff is also so friendly, especially Melissa. I am so happy I was referred the this office.

Staff is wonderful! Nicole at the front desk is always so helpful and friendly. Lissette is also so nice and encouraging during weigh ins. I’ve learned so much about health and weight loss and would highly recommend this place to anyone!
