My daughter bought her first car over the summer from the east meadow CarMax. There is a problem with her car and I was a wreck about how much the cost would be! I called and spoke to Maryanne in billing. She looked over her account and told me her warranty covered her and she only has a small deductible! Being a week before Christmas this news was a miracle!! She calmed me down and assured me that my daughter was covered with her 48 months warranty. It was the way Maryanne conveyed the information and made me feel better is why I'm writing this review. Please keep her because she is an asset to your company. She explained the warranty to me and acknowledged why I would be so anxious. Thank you, Maryanne!

Purchase a truck in East Meadow in sept 2024 it was a great experience. I recently had a minor problem with the truck which is still under there warranty they fixed it with no problem and the service manager AJ was excellent thanks for great service i would highly recommended carmax in East Meadow and the service department.

Had a leased car with excess milage a friend suggested seeing what carmax would offer. I ran the online offer it left me upside-down only $17 vs $2000+ if I returned to Subaru.
Showed up at the location, they checkout my car offer stayed the same as it was online. Filled out the paperwork and was out the door in about an hour. would have been quicker if my leasing company didn't waste 20 minutes, but that wasn't carmax's fault.
The rep I dealt with was professional, helpful and seemed like a genuinely good human.
I will definitely look at selling my new lease to them at the end of the lease and if I ever do buy a used vehicle carmax will be the first place I check.

Bait and switch. Avoid at all cost. Did the virtual offer. Than called around 630. I was told that as long as I get there at least 15 mins before closing I could get confirmation of my offer. Surprisingly I got there at 7:40 and the way I was denied to be seen was ridiculous. Not onlyI was fed with lies telling me that an appraisal takes more than 1 hrs. Pictures are taken in 10 mins. Don't lie to people and stop waisting ppl time

If you need to sell your car, I highly recommend going to CarMax. The experience was quick and the staff was friendly and easy to work with. This was a very positive experience!

Miriam should be fired!
I went to CarMax to appraise my vehicle and spoke with the lady at the front desk, who gave me attitude and had a very condescending tone. I later found out her name is Miriam. The manager needs to reprimand her and educate her on customer service. I asked other customers if they had similar experiences as well. She should be fired!
I would have given this a 1 star rating, but thankfully I had a good experience with the appraiser. Rick was very friendly and super helpful! He worked very efficiently and the process only took 10 minutes. He should give Miriam a course in respecting customers.
