This store used to be an organized place with a variety of items, and you could always find everything. Not only that, but the owners made sure to respect the line that was always formed next to the salad bar. Where are the managers of this place now?Two weeks ago, I bought some fish, and it came with worms. The lady at the counter only refunded me for the weight of the fish, which was much less than what I had brought (considering the first portion). A Native American gentleman didn't know what to do or say, claiming to be the owner, but he doesn't seem to know his business. They are terrible.

Was very disappointed with a Panini turkey sandwich and this is the second time that it happened to me they heat the cold cuts up in the microwave and then put the sandwich on the Panini machine. Totally grossed out. Who heats up cold cuts in a microwave. You can't do that to a pure Italian person. I just threw the sandwich out. I did not have it in me to tell the girl that she grossed me out by putting it in the microwave. I haven't been there since then because it's scarred me.

Best pies anywhere. Prepared food at the Red Horse is great. The baked clams, empanadas, salads are all top notch. Though it’s hard to walk out of there without spending at least $100 every time. I realize it’s the Hamptons, but prices are still a bit high. Not the best spot for groceries, definitely worth it for the prepared foods.

Prepared foods are very good- would recommend salmon kabobs, marinated skirt steak and green chicken. Produce is average and everything else is grossly overpriced even for East Hampton standards. Better off going a mile away to Citerella's which has everything that's better except for those previously mentioned. The reason for the rating is the General Manager, who is incredibly rude and acts like he's the only store in town. The staff works as if they are scared of the guy and many customers have mentioned his rudeness. One has to wonder why an owner would hire someone who obviously dislikes his customers

I am shocked at the negative reviews. The people are always friendly at Red Horse and produce and food are excellent. I recently remarked to my wife that the prices are kind of reasonable especially for the Hamptons. I was a huge fan of Pasquale and his fantastic mozzarella, it's a shame we lost him. I also miss the pizza since they closed that down. But they have great sandwiches, salads and excellent meat, fish and kebabs. I'm okay if unhappy people don't come... less lines. Hopefully all of us are happier and appreciative coming off a couple difficult years.

The Colombian lady with glasses is extremely rude and treats her employees and customers badly, I do not recommend this place.

Very inconvenient layout especially if you want to approach the deli or salad counter, with people cutting in and out in front of you, it is hard to see what is available. Most of the merchandise can easily be sourced from neighboring gourmet hounds, but here with some unworthy mark-up.Dessert and salad are ordinary at best. Check-out counter is slow and snaking. Overall, it is not worth the hustling with yoga-pants crowd to get something that is inferior to the goods in one of the Roundswamp Farm stores.

Horrible store. The people are extremely rude. Kicked off a disable person with his small service dog in her arms. If you are a good person with values I won’t support this store and their business. There is plenty of market in the Hamptons don’t go to them!!!Also items are extremely over priced in comparison of all the other markets. Go to Amber Waves or Red Swamp. They don’t even speak English impossible to communicate with the workers there
