I have always preferred the customer service touch at my local Hannaford, especially since our dollars need to be stretched more these days.
Today was not a good day at Hannaford. Unfortunatel my husband had wanted pork chops for a meal this week, and the meat selection was limited this afternoon prior to 3pm.
I waited a the Butcher Station to be waited on and other individuals were there as well. When the young man asked if he could help me and I stated there weren't any center cut loin chops and I would like to get some cut; his first response was to state your going to have to wait I am the only person here. He portroyed himself as being overwhelmed and frustrated; so with this response we decided to stop shopping.
On our way to the cashier to be cashed out; we stopped by the customer service center and stated how disapppointed we were. We stated their customer service has always been what has distinguished this market chain from others.
Today was very disappointing.

Went in to buy cigarettes, and was told that particular store did not sell cigarettes.
GOOD FOR YOU, Hannaford! It's a vile and disgusting habit and, a hard habit to quit. Much respect.

Good if you're in the area. I went to see Bob Marley movie at nearby Regal Cinemas. Hannaford EG is convenient to Routes 9, 4 , 787 & 90

Very nice store, clean, stocked well. Deli closed early before 7pm so was unable to get lunch meat, but other than that I prefer this one over Delmar or Albany.

I like going to this store for the quality of it's products. The prices are a little higher than other places and the sales don't match other sales in the area. They also don't do rain checks. Overall, I shop here for only the sales. Regular products are out of my budget at this location.

Almost always has what I am looking for. I can stop in for one thing or stop in for a full shop. People are friendly too. More vegan friendly foods now.

I like going there the price are a lot better than Price Chopper and those stores and also it's very clean and the meats always look good
