Typical Walgreens, stocked well, but 60% of the store is behind plastic security locks to prevent theft, you’ll need to wait for an associate to help you. Check-out takes a long time.

After surgery, this store stole 5 opiate pills from my prescription. Double checked with wife who opened bottle with me and confirmed. Reported to corporate and police who in turn made several staff changes at the store. Ok for regular non prescribed but I would never get a scheduled narcotic prescription filled here again. There are occasionally junkies zoning out outside and it doesn't strike confidence that the same pharmacists behind the counter may also be suffering from addiction. Sad situation all around but there are plenty of other local and chain pharmacies around as well as other alternatives.

Why am I inside a Walgreens in east Elmhurst on Astoria Blvd at 930pm on a Wednesday evening , thats simple my buds flight from Los Angeles is delayed and I ain't waiting inside a darn airport for 3 hours . I prefer to walk around Walgreens, buy some snacks , diet Pepsi and grab a few trashy magazines and sit by the closed pharmacy reading my trashy mags in peace . Not kidding but for 30 minutes I did not see one soul including a customer or Walgreens worker walked by and thats just fine . Overall a standard Walgreens in Queens that has the basics and from what I can see from my seat by the corner, places looks well stocked and organized, let's give Walgreens 4 stars for letting me eat, drink and read without any interruptions.

I never realized how busy a pharmacy is, or maybe it is just this pharmacy, but the pharmacy staff (Pharmacists and Pharm Techs) here are awesome! They're super nice, super professional, and super efficient. I don't know how they manage to do so many things at once and not seem flustered or stressed. They definitely deserve a raise or more help. Seriously. Kudos to them....I don't think I could work under that kind of high pace environment. Anyways, I've been there several times and they're always very nice and patient. I've met a few pharmacists: Nate B....I don't remember catching his last name and Kirby A. and he actually told me info about the vaccine side effects, possibly experiencing more side effects because it's my second dose, and even that it might take up to 14 days for it to really provide immunity. I was very appreciative of that. It's nice that they're providing such clear information to make the patient aware of what might happen. I mean...I knew all that stuff already because I'm the one who reviews all the vaccine data for our doctor group, but I was very appreciative of the fact that they took the time to explain everything and that it wasn't just like a factory assembly line to them. I've had several patients tell me that the person who administered their vaccine said the effects should be immediate and I was like...ummmm....what? .... So they think you get the vaccine and your body immediately undergoes the necessary cell mediated and humoral response...instantly????? ...lol ....I don't even know where to begin with that. lol.... Anyways...the point is I would definitely go to this pharmacy just for the pharmacy staff. I know I said that they're awesome already, but they're awesome. Give them a raise!

This lady wouldn't allow my service animal at the store. She kicked me out & told me something was wrong with me when I told her Walgreens allows service animals on to the premises. This is the type of nasty people here working this location. Never has anything like this happened before, service animals are an exception. She needs to learn how to talk to customers.

If possible I would give 0 star. This is in regard to Walgreens photo. Specifically - Photo Christmas cards. I have ordered photo Christmas cards over the years from here, no problems. Last night I placed an order (which took hours because of the way Walgreens photo selection is setup) The pictures were to be ready after 7:30am Monday (today). I went around 12:30 to pick them up. They are badly understaffed. I waited and waited. I had ordered 20 cards. On the side of the printer I saw my cards. There were only 12. Whoever was originally doing the cards, stopped because the printer ran out of ink and just left the cards there. While I was waiting a woman came, added ink & started printing. Then another woman came and started separating the 12 cards. The cards printing had yellow spots on them. I actually had to tell them I could not use them. The woman, then set it up to print again - I need 20 & only had 12 good ones. Again, yellow spots on the front & back of the cards. At that point I had been there for about 30 mins. Again, I said the cards with the spots I could not use. There now was a printer issue. I ordered 20, got 12 & they thought that was good. I had had enough and left - without the cards & a few things I had wanted to buy. But, this horrible experience might have been a good thing! I have just placed an order with CVS for Christmas photo cards. And it only took me 30 minutes. Walgreen Mgmt. Whatever is going on there, fix it!

As a customer who orders a lot of packages I don't like to get my packages stolen. In simple words my complain is that the workers who work with FedEx can be a pain to deal with. I show the lady my moms ID because it was in her name. It was a valid ID but it wasn't a state ID but if a bank can receive it then why does Walgreens give me a big problem just to pick up my shoes ? I then call FedEx and they told her in the system to give to me abs she refuses to give it to me.
