Gased up with my card. Paid for the gas just fine. 5 minutes later my bank reports that the gas station tried to take another even $100 from my account but the bank declined it because they tried the wrong PIN code. Nice people, eh?

If you use your rewards card for savings, they try to trick you not letting you choose on the screen the right option just to make you think the card is not working. Be aware!

The other day when I was coming in with a Lyft rider from Dutchess County who needed a real quick ride to LaGuardia Airport then on to JFK Airport, I had to stop in (before letting them out due to instances beyond my control) and get some gas. Although my GasBuddy card worked and I was even surprised that it gave me 10 cents off (due to my Shell FuelRewards transaction before the initial credit was entered - a rarity for my area), by the time I was asked whether or not I wanted a receipt, the machine never even made a motion that it would print. However, once I actually showed my face inside (having to walk past my rider who I asked to kindly exit my vehicle so he could catch another Lyft that would get him to his airport (after he found out that his flight was cancelled in-transit and next best plane would be at JFK Airport with some savings in-turn too.) The people inside were nice. Although I couldn't quite understand the employees description at first, when he later tried to verify how much the gas was, I mentioned, and out the receipt came. The gas station seemed clean. I realized that Queens and the City (near Citi Field), gas is a rarity, but this station was a godsend for me. Thanks. I don't think I'll be back again, but if I'm ever again in the area, we'll see.

It's not really the shell station that I'm not complaining about at this point it's the neighborhood i was getting gas and some guy walked up to me and asked for a dollar. I said I don't carry cash he called me a liar and told me i must have cash because I drive a new car and I should be able to give him some money.... it's a rental you moron.

This gas station is the worst one I've been to in New York. The gas prices are high. The staffers inside are very mean and rude. One Indian staff was trying to pretend that he didn't understand English well.I handed over him a $20 bill to buy $15 worth of gas.I had to repeat several times to him to make him give change to me.The guy was very unhappy to give me change and he didn't even want to give me a receipt afterwards.Another younger Indian staff was also acting with contempt treating the customers rudely.I realized that it's wise for me not to trust them with any credit card for the purchase in the first place after knowing what kind of lowlives run this place.
