“The cottage was originally built over 200 years ago in the townland of Carrickataggart. The cottage was carefully disassembled and shipped across the Atlantic Ocean in pieces and sections; first the chimney and center wall and then all of the rest including original handmade Irish furnishings and arrived in New York Harbor where it was unloaded and shipped to East Durham, NY and reassembled.”

“Where do I begin?..…..there’s so many positives about this venue, I am just going to the list the ones that stand out……EVERYTHING! At every angle of this incredible property is a little piece of Heaven. My daughter’s wedding was enchanting. Mario and Daniel, the owners, are perfectionists in every way and it shows. They cross every T and dot every I to make sure your event is as special as you want it to be-and more! Sometimes they show tough love to make sure to get it right and it works. There is always a Plan B. Some people may say the venue is a little out of budget, but when you consider you have a unique, European style garden in upstate NY, manicured and curated everyday by two VERY caring people, built in wedding planners with a TON of experience in design, a historical house filled with love and a creatively designed covered dance floor barn. At the end, you look back and think, “that wedding felt like a million bucks! It was worth every penny!” I want to renew my vows just to have another event here. I miss the location and especially Mario and Daniel. ♥️”

“Magical family feel but some outdoor activities would be great, and upgrades to indoor bowling alley and basement feels neglected in terms of fun and cleaning. Almost like guest don’t actually go down there to play. Missed space for opportunity and guest interaction/fun.”
