“I never write reviews but I had to because of my mothers recent experience at this location. Let me start by saying that my mother is in poor health and doesn't get around like she use to.
I usually go to the store with her to help her with the bags etc. but was unable to due to a recent surgery.
The cashier that checked her out (her name tag said Mary lou) was so pleasant and kind to my mom.
She double bagged everything and not only put the bags in her cart for her but put the bags into her car!
You don't really see this type of consideration in these modern times.
We love this location and the staff! Thank you!”

“Big Joe mufferaw is the best man in Ottawa, Puka the best man I know, and if Hank got a jib cut as fresh as his vegetable you know he’s a good guy too! Puka ain’t got an old lady yet so me and thirty other men are bunkin up to celebrate him, my old lady said to get some sleep but I got coffee instead (bustelo). Came here for other provisions as well. Oatmeal. Pretzel. Gonna sleep out back while all the other men shack up. In a world full of too many men, some bad, it’s nice that hank is a slice of home no matter where you find him! Forgot a bucket hat for this weekend of weekends if you got one I can borrow DM me.”

“I just discovered this place and love it! I grabbed some snacks for a hike and charcuterie for happy hour. They have a great selection of really special products and you can tell everything is thoughtfully curated. I bought some house made meatballs and a special spaghetti that the shopkeeper recommended and it was the perfect dinner.”

“Usually have decent produce. I trust buying my fresh fruit or veggies from here. Good selection of gluten-free items in its own little section which is helpful. Variety of employees and LGBTQ friendly which is nice to see in that area.”

“This General Dollar is much better than most DGs in our area. Usually fully stocked and clean. Manager and staff should be commended for being better than ther partner stores.”
“If I had to rate all dollar general stores, I'd go with 2-3 stars but the Greenville store is an exception. The manager there works so hard and does as much as she can, I've never seen carts full of things that need to be put away at this store like I do at almost every other dollar general. The workers are nice and most of them work really hard, there's a few people that come and go but the ones that have been there for a while really are good workers. I just think that the company itself needs work, they need to pay better wages to their workers or stop over charging people for items since they are supposed to be cheaper than other places.”
“Store is clean and organized. Some regular items don't have many options/variety, which I don't like. Staff was helpful. Prices are a little higher than other stores. I will go again for some things, like Boars Head products. when I'm in the area.”

“Hidden Gem when it comes to great deli sandwiches !! Stopped here while staying local at a Greenville resort over 4th of July. Ordered 2 Italian subs to go and my sub was one of the best ever eaten !!! 2 subs for under $30 !!! Can't wait til next year...”
