A Disappointing and Unpleasant Stay
I recently had the misfortune of staying at your hotel, and I feel compelled to share my experience. Upon arrival, I was immediately struck by the poor state of cleanliness and maintenance in the room. The floor was filthy, and there was an overwhelming, aged humidity odor in the air, reminiscent of mold.
The condition of the bathroom was particularly appalling. The shower was broken and splashed water all over the bathroom, and to make matters worse, there was no hot water. The bathroom floor became a hazardous mess after every use. Additionally, not all the lights in the room were working, and some had broken switches.
The windows were extremely dirty, obstructing the view and letting in little natural light. The air conditioning units were covered in dust, clearly not cleaned or sanitized in quite some time.
When I brought these issues to the attention of the owner, I was met with an astonishing response: "Why didn't you mention it before?" It is utterly unreasonable to expect guests to ensure their rooms are clean, smell pleasant, and are fully operational. This is a basic responsibility of the hotel management and staff.
I am deeply disappointed with my stay and hope that necessary improvements are made to ensure future guests do not have to endure such an unpleasant experience.
But if all will remain the same way, it will be just a money waste, and no one will thank you for cleaning the room by yourself, etc.. , etc...
No judgment - just the facts. Decision is yours if you want to go through the same experience or not.

Rooms: Very nice and clean, smelled good,no black mold , very well took care of.Well go back in October on my next trip.

Amazing views right from the bedroom. Quiet cozy place. Staff was very welcoming and helpful. Clean room had mini fridge and microwave and tv, wifi also worked really good. No complaints here, would highly recommend!

I love this place. It has a beautiful view right outside your room door. The rooms are clean and cozy. The gentleman there is a great guy and helped me many times. He is always very welcoming. My dogs love this place as well. Everything you need is within 15/20 minutes away.

Simple clean room. Bed was very comfortable. The guy who works there was really nice. He went above and beyond for us a couple of times. I’d left something behind and had to go back to retrieve it and he was very accommodating.

Billy here was awesome. We got rained out hard camping last night. We called this motel around 8 and got a room no problem. Super easy, quite. Exactly what we needed after getting soaked to the bone. Best hidden gem. Very simple but very convenient.

Good little place! Clean, simple, and close to rte17.Nothing fancy. But if you need a local place to stay it's good to know this is available.

While I have not stayed here, I did call to ask if the motel was pet-friendly. Whoever answered the phone was very brash and started with the conversation with "is this a quick question, because I am in a meeting." Hopefully this is not the typical level of customer service, regardless we will not be staying there.
