Knox farm is a great park. They have a wonderful dog park that seems quite natural. They're actually two sections of it, both being large. Our dog loves the water and water tub that they have there, she gets really muddy. You can also walk throughout the park. They have one of the best music festivals in September, it's called Borderland music festival. Highly recommend. Beautiful location, peaceful.

Lovely holiday crafts show! My dog and daughter really enjoyed the doggo parko while I shopped, too. Two paws up!Dog-friendliness: Really large and well maintained dog park very near the barns and main house. Dogs were well behaved too! My elderly doggo hasn't been to a dog park in quite a while and he had a great time. ?

Beautiful park with lots to do and explore. Walked around the paths for around an hour and a half and never walked the same path twice. The paths are in excellent condition and there are a lot of them to exlore. There's a nice dog park near the parking lot, it wasn't very busy but I'm sure on a day with nicer weather there would be more dogs. They even have a separate fenced off area just for smaller dogs, which is nice. Look forward to coming back and seeing what else the park has to offer.

Absolutely beautiful farm with a HUGE dog park. It’s amazing this park is provided free to the community. We found if the perfect spot to stop for a picnic before heading up to Niagara. Our dog had so much fun roaming the absolutely huge dog park. It even has a big and small dog section but the big dog section is so big you can bring your small dogs in there with no problem and there will be plenty of space for the doggies.Restrooms: Well maintained and clean rest rooms by the info area.Dog-friendliness: Absolutely huge dog park!

Holy, what a beautiful detour. Free state park, which is always a bonus. However, freedom always comes with a price! I parked by the barns and proceeded to take a short walk on the library trail after looking at the map. With that said, there was minimal signage. A 5-minute walk turned into an hour long journey due to absolutely zero signage beyond the library woods and "horses have the right of way." And since I didn't bring my phone, there was no way to detect my location. I felt like I was back in the days pre ubiquitous mobile devices, which wasnt a bad thing, since it forced me to stay in the present! So, I traipsed through wood and field till I reached the homestead, looking lonely and abandoned from its glory years. In any case, if you do decide to take the journey, you will encounter birds galore, native and invasive plant species, and beautiful views of distant mountains across the fields. Rumor has it there is also a native nursery, which is part of the reason I stopped. I didn't find it. But there is a dog park for people with furry friends. The visitor center isn't visitor friendly and needs updating. But, there are clean bathrooms! Happy trails to you all.Restrooms: They are clean.Dog-friendliness: There's an enclosed park with a couple obstaclesPicnic area: Plenty

Nice park to walk. Make sure your dogs are up to date on vaccines and flea/tick meds. A lot of open fields and woods. Dog park it touch and go my dog has gotten attacked before and left bleeding (not bad enough to go to vet but still) when not many dogs in dog park it is a good place for them to run and mingle.
