I’ve been a member at barre centric since 2018. The instructors are all so knowledgeable and accommodating, the studios are clean, merch is stylish, the community is great, and there are always fun pop-up events! They are a great local business that supports other locals as well. Barre is the only exercise I’ve consistently stuck with and you can start at any fitness level with plenty of modifications!

I do not like to workout. However, I have found a routine and exercise in Barre Centric that works for me. The facility and instructors are so welcoming. Instructors are clear in their explanations, supportive, and provide modifications for all levels. I have seen an improvement in my strength and flexibility. The classes are great for all fitness levels.

I made the choice to join Barre Centric during the pandemic and really have loved it. It has hands down been one of the best choices I made. All of the instructors are awesome and super supportive. I highly recommend this studio and encourage others to check it out!

Honestly one of the most positive workout experiences i’ve had. Everyone there is non-judgemental, supportive, and kind. It’s really easy to learn in such a fun environment, it’s a nice escape

Best barre studio around! All of the Instructors are friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable and very helpful. It is always a really good workout, and they show you how you can make modifications if necessary. I love the matted floors and overall setting as well.

I love the workout I get from the barre classes! Normally I go to the Southtowns location, but I have been to the Northtowns location a few time too. The instructors are SO friendly and they go between both studios. It's a non intimidating environment, extremely clean, and a ton of fun!

Barre Centric has joined the cult of businesses who have chosen segregation and division over unity and acceptance. Earlier this week, BC announced its standing to allow only jabbed customers to patron its establishment, forcing the unjabbed to “convert their membership” to virtual only. In any other world, this would be grounds for a lawsuit, multiple lawsuits actually, yet somehow in this clown world we live in, it’s deemed acceptable. BC could have taken the high road like soooo many other businesses in Erie county by allowing ALL people to patron their establishment— not just those of certain medical stature. This is both disappointing and extremely risky for them, as a business.I hope anyone who chooses to be healthy will think twice before patronizing this business. They DO NOT represent health — they represent segregation, division and hate.

Super fun class. I never took a barre class before and I could follow it. Variety (balls, bands, barre, weights) make the class fly by!

It's not often you get to take the very first class at a brand new studio, or the third location of a studio you spend quite a bit of time at. But today was the grand opening of Barre Centric's new southtowns location and I made the (quicker than I thought) drive to East Aurora on a beautiful Sunday morning to get my barre on. If you've been to either studio before, this location makes me think of a cross between the northtowns location and the downtown location. There's a small entrance area similar to the northtowns location, with storage space all the way to the right when you walk in. Similar to the downtown location, there is a small collection of gear for sale. Walk through the doors and there is the studio. It's a little bit smaller than the other studios, but there's still plenty of room. One thing to note, if you're at the back barre, you won't be able to get a completely flat back on the wall during the flat back sequence due to the way the wall is set up in the first place. It is nice to have windows in the studio, that's for sure. Parking is either on the street or in the small lot next to the building. On a Sunday morning, I didn't have any trouble parking on the street, it may be different on other days. So far, the new studio has three different classes available: Barre Centric, Barre Cardio, and Barre Xpress. If you've never taken a class before, or not in awhile, start with Barre Centric or Xpress (the express class is 45 minutes as opposed to the standard 55 minutes). Cardio is faster and kicks it up a notch. The majority of the classes on the schedule are standard classes. The class format means that every class is taught the same way with the same routine. Moves often have modifications available, and believe me, I certainly take advantage of them. The last thing I want is another injury! I don't know how often I'll make it to the southtowns studio, but I'm happy it's there. It's wonderful to see a business you like open a new location and grow a bit. See you at the barre!
