If you need to shop at Tops on Transit Road, go to this location! It's clean, the staff are friendly and competent, they have a wider selection of food and it's well-stocked and organized. It's a much better store than the other transit road location. Obviously the management is top-notch here, it really shows.

I'm still getting used to the whole self check out process, especially when I have a full shopping cart. The person that runs the night shift at the self check out area during the week is excellent at this location. Very helpful and quickly fixes any issues making the check out process so much easier. Always a great attitude and willing to help. Thank you.

I want to complement your employee named Gretchen. I was shopping there this evening and got home and realized I forgot an item. I left it in the cart. I called and Gretchen went out to where I left my car near the handicap parking and found my item and brought it into the store Where I was able to come and pick it up. I want to commend her for her efforts. This was at the top market at North French and Transit Rd. in East Amhurst.

The food quality, prices and selection are excellent. Over the summer I wanted to make a pulled pork recipe, I called their butcher shop and they instantly knew what needed.
I also run a bunch of community outreach programs for my church (St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Williamsville). Last September, along with four other Lutheran churches, we ran a baby supply drive to support Harvest House. This organization is located on Buffalo’s east side and provides a big range of services, one of which is children’s supplies. I made just one call to Tops and that got the ball rolling. I was overwhelmed by their generosity. They really care about the community.

This tops is the absolute worst! Carry out cafe has zero desire to assist on phone orders! I called at 7:27p on Monday to order a breakfast pizza for the following day and was told that they were closed and to call back the next morning when carry out obviously closes at 8p. They also had zero desire to take the order for the staff in the morning but ensured me that a call at 630a would get the job done. So I called at 6:40a to get someone with the next line of excuses! “Sorry we don’t take orders until 730a”. Either there’s a set of situational rules made up by the employees or they’re just lazy! Either way, there’s no direction in that department or they’re severely understaffed! It should not be this difficult to get assistance!

We would like to specially thank the store manager Tina. My husband left his Canadian driver license and credit card in the store and we didn’t find out until we passed the border to go back to Canada.After talking with Tina, she spent her own time to the post office and mail them to us. Many thanks to Tina and all other staffs who help us find the cards!

I would give zero stars if I could. Just went to the grab and go pizza place in the store. 3:00 on a Friday and they didnt have any cheeze and pepperoni pizzas to take and bake at home.I inquired to see if they had any, and they didn't believe me and had to check for themselves. I asked if they could make me one (uncooked mind you) and they said it would be 20 minutes. 20 minutes to throw some sauce, cheese and pepperoni on a pizza shell. This was a cold take and bake raw pizza. I could tell that the two of them behind the counter could not be bothered.I walked out.
