Wendy and staff are awesome! Filled a script for me after I was in the ER, pharmacy was closing but Wendy insisted on taking care of my script. They call to let you know your refills are up. Always so professional and happy to take care of you. Since moving from Amherst to Lockport, we gladly go to this pharmacy because of the way they treat you. We have had nightmare experiences with Walgreens and the CVS is too busy.

Consistently poor service. For the SECOND time I waited over half an hour for Instantcart order to be brought to my car. This time I had to end yet the store, spoke to the manager who handed me off to a cashier. Another time I was at self checkout and needed assistance and waited 20 minutes while the cashier chatted with other customers. I am done! This is the closest store to my house but I won't be giving them my business. I want to be clear it is Tops employees who are responsible for taking groceries to the vehicle and the Instantcart person was excellent and not responsible for this wait.

Stopped here because I was passing by and needed to pick up a sale item. That's usually what brings me into a Tops since I think their normal prices are higher than other local grocery stores. It is bigger and set up a little better than the Tops at Maple and Transit which is closer to my house. That's a plus but not enough for me to shop here regularly. For some reason I just don't get a comfort level in Tops. Nothing really bad but nothing that jump out to draw me back. 2021-182

Since returning from abroad, I have had many disappointing experiences at a few Buffalo-area Tops locations. As a child and young adult I recalled many of visits to be second to none if not on par with perineal competitors such as Wegmans, however in recent years, Top Friendly Markets consistently has lagged behind by way of price, cleanliness, quality, selection, customer service when matched against local, national and international chains that have entered the Western New York market within the past decade. Last year, I was shopping for bananas the Tops Maple and Transit location. After I inserted my phone into the front pocket of my shorts, the mobile phone fell to the floor. As I was about to pick up the phone I noticed an employee work heading in the path where the phone fell a few feet away pushing a cart. The worker, wearing black shirt with a red collar, was dangerously close, so instead instead of reaching down to pick up my phone I told the worker "I dropped my phone" and "watch out." Oblivious to my commands, the worker ran over my phone with the cart, causing two of the four wheels of the cart to knock the flimsy cover of the phone and and cause damage to the screen and stylus. Judging by the colors of the employee's shirt I was certain it was a Tops employee who had damaged my phone. I called Tops customer service explain what had happened but they insisted that they reviewed video of the incident and insisted that it was not a Tops Employee they viewed in the incident, but a Coca Cola vender and they were not responsible. I had no idea how it would be possible that representative of Cola Cola would be pushing a cart carrying produce into the produce department. She along with other representatives told that a representative of Coca Cola's insurance provider would be in touch with me and warned that I could that I could be responsible for committing fraud. When I got in touch with Coca Cola's insurance representative I was stunned how unprofessional she was. I assumed she had access to the very same video the Tops employees had allegedly viewed and insisted she view it. "Check the video," I said. She then replied "yeah, I'll check the video," with a hint of sarcasm. I said it may not have been a Coca Cola employee because the person maneuvering the cart was wearing a shirt like most Tops employees commonly wear. I then asked what she saw in the video. After asking. She then revealed to me that there was no video and the call ended abruptly thereafter. Following the call, I continued to call Tops' costumer service to inform them what happened , insisting it was Tops and the Coca Cola Company that was responsible for the damage of my mobile phone. To this day, I was compesated by Tops with not even a ten-doller gift certificate. It's really a shame how petty Tops has become.

A young girl who was wiping down easy express lane ( and NOT doing a good job ) was completely rude to me regarding the fact I moved my face mask down because I was talking to my mother in law and I wanted her to be able to hear me. The girl said " it defeats the purpose, put your mask on your face" The issue is a man had bought a coffee at the coffee shop and kept moving his mask to drink and no one said a word. The young girl really needs to learn to walk away and mind her business. Will NOT shop here again

Stopped in Tops because I needed to pick up an order for the new Flash Food app and see how it worked. This is an awesome program for those who hate to see food go to waste, have food insecurity, forgot to take so.ething out the freezer or simply like to find a good deal. Tops has started this program to sell the items that are near expiration. They list items daily and sometimes weekly. You can get anything from meats, dairy, juices, bakery items, produce boxes and whatever else. This particular day I got prime rib hamburgers and chicken Italian sausage. They were due to expire within 48 hours Check the map to see which items are available for the day or week. The store and the representative did an awesome job identifying what I came to get and quickly directed me where to go and pick up my items. The products were as stated and are kept in a cooler at the front of the store. Give it a try

Concerned about the way Tops is enforcing Covid with employees. Witnessed deli employee walking back to deli area from break with no mask through the store. Arrived in area, spoke with fellow employees, went to sink and washed hands for Leeds than 5 seconds. While drying hands she wiped her mouth with the paper towel and back to hands. Then across the deli area to salads where she finally pulled out a mask. In the self checkout area no employees cleaning the registers like they used to between customers. Instead three employees all talking around the head cashier stand with masks below their noses. This was all on Saturday September 19.

Tops in Lewiston is a convenient place to shop. Store is well maintained and selection of items is always good with a nice area of organic foods available. Glad the store is nearby. But, after trying the "famous" fish fry for the first time yesterday, the verdict on that is thumbs down. Fish was dry and overcooked. Too much coating on the fish and the fries were hard and flavorless. Slaw was OK. Not a fan of the fish fry and will not purchase again.

I am not a big fan of Tops in general, but when you need things immediately and Tops is the closest store nearby, it's better than nothing. This particular Tops location isn't the cleanest, and the food at the "hot deli" corner seems to always be old (not that I wanted to try any!). The salads they have look like they've been made a long time ago; always have this crusty, faded-out color on the tops. Generally, the produce here isn't as fresh as Wegmans. The apples here aren't bad, but make sure you check the expiration date for other packaged produce (like salads and cheese). I've seen a couple packaged foods that were sitting there past their expiration date, which really discouraged me to buy food here at all. The food here is not cheap either, which I find a bit ironic! They try to organize things as neatly as possible on the shelves, but I think it's just the overall lighting and cleanliness that makes it look not-as-nice. Although I personally haven't had issues at this location, the employees here are not as friendly as employees at other grocery stores. The main (and only) reason I go to this Tops is because they have two Redbox machines, which are located behind the flower cases. The machines are INSIDE the store though, so you can't access them unless the Tops is open.

If we could give out half stars, this would be a solid 3.5 review. I don't dislike Tops. In fact, I come here pretty often. Of course, it's less than a mile from my house & the parking is fairly easy. While I might prefer Wegmans down the road, the traffic sucks between my house & that store, and you have to park quite a distance from the door unless you bring your lucky rabbit's foot. The good stuff about Tops: 1. They have a good variety of brands & products. They are a big enough store that I don't often leave without what I want or a solid substitute. 2. A lot of stuff is so much cheaper with the Bonus Plus card. For instance, I often pick up a variety of berries at Buy 2, Get 3 free. 3. I love the gas program with the Bonus Plus card. I definitely save on fuel! 4. Cashing out is pretty easy. Sometimes there's a long line, but I don't buy a lot at once, so it's not a big deal to hit the self check out if the other lines are long. 5. The bathrooms are always so clean! 6. The workers are helpful. A couple of times I've had to ask for assistance with finding things. The people who helped me each time walked me to what I needed as opposed to just telling me where to find it. 7. They fixed it so you can now get a decent phone signal in there. The bad stuff: 1. The parking lot is too narrow. I'm always afraid someone is going to run me over when I'm driving or backing out of a spot. For that reason, I now park toward the back of the lot. Not a huge deal since the parking lot is pretty small. 2. Their grocery shopping app needs a ton of work. 3. They aren't Wegmans. But hey, there can only be one Wegmans, and Tops is a convenient alternative with plenty to offer.

This is for their bakery. I needed a 1/2 sheet Birthday cake before noon the next day, I already called their competition who was condescending and not wiling to make anything easy. Tops bakery made it EASY and delightful to put a order in. I wish I called them first. I ordered a yellow 1/2 sheet with satin cream frosting It was so delicious, the frosting was not overly sweet, the cake was super fluffy and had great flavor. It was decorated to ordered, came out exactly as requested with coloring and designs. Will DEFINITELY order from their bakery again.
