My wife and I worked with Heidi, a very pleasant, patient and knowledgeable landscape designer for Russell's Nursery. My wife and I know nothing about plants at all, so Heidi was a God send for us. She designed a beautiful landscape layout that fit our taste, budget and constraints, such as deer repellent shrubs, etc.. We just can't say enough about this wonderful woman who has been so very helpful. The plants at Russell's are top notch and so is their professionalism. Tim C. 2024

I purchased 5 trees with Barrett's assistance at Russell's. He was a wealth of knowledge and I believe he ultimately led me to the best decision for my needs. He was patient and answered all of questions. He referred me to use 716 Trees as my tree installer and I was floored by their organization and professionalism. They were early for the job and worked fast and efficiently, leaving my property spotless afterwards. I paid close to $2,000 for 5 trees and the installation was slightly over $1,500. I'd recommend Russell's and 716 Trees to any friend or family member. Very happy start to finish!

No matter how misguided and foolish your idea is, Russel's will help your dreams come true if you pay them. Why plan for the future when Russel's can make a buck now!
Their helpful landscape customers roaming the parking lot will approach you, even if you're 81, and guide you towards the tree of their highest margins, buy it on their wholesale account, and plant it in the most dumb of places regardless of the future size or root structure for $200. Sure he might question it but in the end it won't be a problem for 15 years so who cares! Professional opinions and expert advice always take a back seat to quick profits in the Russel's parking lot.
Follow up service is great too. When someone asks for the details of how a 45 ft tree got planted 3 ft from a neighbor's gas line, you'll get laughed at, they'll deny any responsibility or knowledge of it, and then dart to the phone to call the landscaper and yell at him. All around great people.

I bought 5 fruit trees from them a few years ago and paid their guys to prep and plant them. Two of the trees died a year later. All 5 trees received the same care. I went back and paid for 2 more trees and asked to have them planted. I waited 2 months and nothing. Went back and looked for my trees and they were gone. They sold them to someone else. Got my money back and left forever.

We were planning to be away from Buffalo for Mother’s Day and called Russell’s to assist us with a delivery of hanging baskets. The sales person was friendly and helpful and chose the perfect items. Delivery was fast and courteous with great communication and he even helped our Mom hang a couple of the baskets. Highly recommend for quality flowers and the local delivery service was clutch! Thank you! 5/5 recommend.

Met Shawn and Heidi, both took time to explain and help me. Shawn with his tree expertise and. Heidi with native plants . They need a native plant section!! Love this place, prices not any worse than others.
