We love it at doodlebugs. They provide so many activities for the kids like playground time, music class , tae kwon do, crafts , etc. The teachers are very caring and energetic.

My son has learned so much at doodlebugs. He loves going there and has become much more social.

I was only at East Amherst DB for 5 months, and my 2 & 1/2 yr old daughter was bit 4 times by 3 different children. All 4 bites, left a teeth ring on my child’s skin for days. I met with the director after the 3rd bite and questioned about 3 out of 9 kids biting in the room and she actually said they have more biters than 3 kids. After the 4th bite, the director said she would not go back and forth with me every time my daughter gets bit, she will probably get bit again and maybe Doodle Bugs is not a right fit for your family. I put in my 2 weeks leave after that conversation to be told that I needed to continue to pay for a month since that is what the contract stated. I had to pay for 4 weeks, even though my daughter would not go there because I was not going to continue to put her in an unsafe environment. I then had to pay 2 childcare centers, just to ensure my child’s safety.

Our experience at Doodlebugs has been nothing but positive. This was our daughter's first exposure to daycare after the pandemic and we are happy we chose Doodlebugs. She started two days per week and has now moved to three as we have part-time care from a family member. Everyday we get full reports, pictures and updates. The center does a great job of following a curriculum and creating activities for the children versus just being babysat all day. Additionally, they are transparent with illnesses, menu updates and all things happening at the center. We feel that our daughters needs are taken care of in an environment that she can learn, grow and socialize with other children.

The doodlebugs at East Amherst is just fantastic. It is worth every penny. My daughter attended their toddler room, and I was so impressed by the teachers' attention to detail caring for each child. They made sure everyone was bundled up and prepared to go outside just the right way. They really care for the children under their care. Healthy meals are prepared daily from their in-house kitchen. They do sensory and musical enrichment regularly. They make going outside a priority, weather permitting. You can watch your children at any time using an app. My daughter really enjoyed attending and spoke fondly of her friends and teachers. It didn't take her long to get used to daycare after spending her whole life at home during COVID. Now she enjoys going to "school"! We will miss this fantastic establishment, but are grateful to have had our daughter attend.Thank you to all the staff that run this place and take such great care of our kids!

My experience has been nothing but the best at Doodlebugs! Nolan’s teachers always give him the care and love that I give him at home! They always keep me updated on his day with detailed reports and amazing pictures! This first time momma is always out at ease!

We absolutely love Doodle Bugs in East Amherst. Everyone is professional and kind, and every teacher in that building knows my son by name, even teachers that aren't his. They really get to know your children on a personal level. It is always clean, and what's more, easy to get ahold of staff when needed via email or phone call, and I love that I can take a peek on my son on the classroom cameras. He's always having the best time with his teachers and friends! Miss Hannah and Miss D'Anna in classroom 7 are the absolute best, as well as Miss Lara and Miss Amanda at the front and the center director, Miss Ashley. Doodle Bugs is a tad pricier than other options we were considering, but comparing what we get for the very small price difference, well worth every penny! Thank you Doodle :)

Our experience with Doodle Bugs has been top-notch. The teachers are amazing and friendly, and our kids are genuinely excited to go to 'school' each day. I take comfort in knowing that they are having an educational, fun filled day while their father and I are at work. Thanks Doodle Bugs!

My daughter has been at the Transit Rd Doodle Bugs for two years now. We have always felt that she is safe, well cared for and has fun! Her current teacher goes above and beyond with creative learning activities!

If I could give 0 stars I would! This review is solely based on my experience with the director and her terrible attitude and how she treated me. All teachers and staff and the facility were great. As for the director, two times after interacting with her, I was left with a sour taste in my mouth because of how she treated me. She was rude and tried talking over me numerous times and refused to take accountability for what she had told me. She claimed there was a miss communication and that the conversation we had had never happened. By the end of our conversation, she was dismissive and said there was nothing more she could do. I would recommend going to a different facility to avoid any possibility of dealing with this individual.

My son has been attending this location for about 2 months- up until now we were happy with the location. However, my son has a completely benign movement disorder in which he rolls his eyes up into his head for 5-15 minutes, usually occurring a few times per week and when he is tired. He has been seen by a neurologist and has been cleared completely- they are not dangerous, this does not require medication, extra attention, or any extra care by the teachers. They do not even need to hold him during these "episodes", he can continue to do whatever he was doing already. This apparently does not deter this location from kicking a 5 month old baby out of daycare with less than 48 hours of notice, leaving parents who work full time scrambling for care in a system of long waitlists for almost every daycare within a 50 mile radius. Even with offering a note from his neurologist and family doctor stating there is no extra care or danger pertaining to these episodes, I was still met with no option other than to leave the daycare. They have known about these episodes since before they accepted him into the center, and just now have decided they are "too uncomfortable" to care for him. I am appalled and I have already shared this information with dozens of friends with babies. I will continue to share this far and wide. Nobody should be discriminated against like this.

My daughter loves her teacher's Miss Ashley and Miss Miranda! They truly care about the kids and create fun and memorable experiences. I love the attentiveness they give to her and all the creative activities she brings home! Also, I really appreciate the pictures and updates I receive each day through the Watch Me Grow app.

Miss Ashley is so sweet and goes above and beyond for all of the holidays in making them special for the kids. My daughter is always so excited for the goodies that Ashley gives out. You can tell she really knows what the kids like!

I have been considering this daycare for my son, however I just found out my nephew was kicked out due to a disability. I would never send my child to a daycare that discriminates like this. Horrible business practice and also…illegal.
