When trying to find a Yamaha dealer who could actually get me in for service on my 115 outboard, I came across Big Moose Yamaha, and decided to make the drive. I could not have made a better choice! Craig in service is one of the nicest human beings I've ever met! He walked me through some simple fixes over the phone for my problem, which he absolutely didn't have to do. When those didn't work, he got me in the next day! Unheard of! Over the next two weeks, he went system by system, part by part, trying to fix my boat motor. It ended up being an ethenol fuel problem, left over from the previous owner, that had wreaked havoc throughout my fuel system. When a part didn't help, he removed it, and did not charge me for it. After several water tests, he narrowed it down to the vst filter and the fuel injectors. He was able to service my injectors, which saved me a ton of money, replace the needed filters, and even help me pick out the correct prop...mine had been replaced and was incorrect. The price was beyond reasonable, and I could not be happier with the entire experience. I wholeheartedly recommend Big Moose Yamaha for all your power sports need! Thank you Craig.

HELPFUL STAFF!!!! I'm located far away and work on my own stuff as much as I can. But I gladly drive the distance to give Big Moose Yamaha any business I can - because they ALWAYS do their best to help me - whether of not I'm doing my own work. No difference! On MULTIPLE occasions, they've guided me through difficult problems - and that's more than one service rep I've spoken with. Both extremely knowledgeable.
One example: Today I asked to purchase a gas filter for my Yamaha Outboard. I was told that if I had a water separator, and it was changed routinely, there was no need to replace the engine gas filter. My benefit for their business loss.
It's rare these days to find a business that truly and sincerely puts the customer first - by what they do, and not just words.
Oh - and their prices for parts are good, as are their shop rates.
