I have purchased numerous parts from Dryden lawn and recreation for a few of my John Deere mowers over the last 18 years. Today I called from Ithaca to see if they had a part for my mower. I explained what the part was and did as well as the mower info and what I thought was the number of the part. The gentleman on the phone said they had the part. Great I drive from ithaca to dryden they don't have the part. Ok part my fault part theirs. They want 4 days to get part. I figure ill try and fix it. I call the store back and speak w the same gentleman and ask for the correct part number I figure I would check syracuse. He cops a attitude with me and refuses to give me the part number. Now I just spent 30.00 there an hour ago as well as I have purchased many items over the year. He refuses and says I'm just going to buy on Amazon and get ot cheaper so he will not give me the number. I didn't care about the price just trying to get my mower fixed today on my day off. I own a small business and try and purchase from small businesses. Horrible customer service. I will no longer purchase there and will tell everyone to go to the john deer dealer in cortland.You were definitely accusatory and disrespectful to a simple request. Not the way to run a business or to treat customers

If you want mediocre service, go to Cortland. If you want the best, go to Dryden Lawn and Recreation. My family has done business with them for 40 years, and I personally have purchased two mowers and a side by side from them. They are friendly, knowledgeable, and their service is first class.
