Thank you Comstock Auto!!! Our milk hauling tanker blew a hydraulic line leaving us unable to load the 8 farms we are responsible for. Comstock got us up and running. You guys saved us a huge headache and at least 5 hours waiting on a big rig road side repair company. I will only use Comstock Automotive from here on out!!! Support your local business ?

I can’t say enough good about this business. We do not drive new cars and as a result have needed their services many, many times over the years. They are extremely knowledgeable, the pricing is fair and they are honest. We trust their opinions. AND, they have gone out of their way, above and beyond, to help us out and get our vehicles back on the road more than once.

My husband brought his suburban there to have a nail removed from a tire. They discovered that a bolt was completely missing after having our alignment done (at a different place). They added a bolt for us and potentially saved the lives of our family.

Yesterday as I was traveling to visit my dad, I got a flat tire. I was stranded on the Corner of 331 and Route 29 waiting for a tow truck for 2 hours. I called Comstock's in a panic as my Roadside Assistance initially wanted to take my car to Yorkville! I told them there was a garage right in Dolgeville which was 7 miles away! (this was around 3 p.m.) As the time was getting closer and closer to 5 p.m. when the garage was closing, the woman that answered the phone at Comstock's assured me that I would be taken care. When arrived at Comstock's, it was after 5 p.m., they were not angry, they got my car right in. The mechanic checked in the back to see if he even had a tire that fit my car. He stated he did not have a"new" tire but a "used" tire and though the replacement tire was not new, there was adequate tread on the tire that was replaced. I left feeling so confident, as he checked all of my tires. These days, I feel there are not many people that would wait for someone, but these guys did just that. I just wanted to thank Comstock's Auto for saving the day yesterday, and making me feel comfortable while waiting, even after hours.

I swear Comstocks has got to be the best auto place around. Collin and the staff are excellent, they always do what you ask and have very very good communication. They dont do unwanted repairs without asking and are very honest people that very much care for you as a customer. Ive recently moved to Herkimer and i could easily go to other car places closer to me but i still go to Comstocks because they make the extra 20 minute drive worth my time. Ive heard horror stories of other auto places around the area (especially walmart) and it makes me that much more grateful to have Comstocks to trust with my car. I will forever give this place my business, and you should too.

I find they have the items I'm looking for more often than anyone else in the immediate area. They also do good mechanical work at fair prices. I take my trucks to them for service on a regular basis and always get fast turn around when I need it.
