Great place to live. Luxury two and one bedroom apartments. Amenities such as pool, outdoor gas grill, pet spa, EV charging stations in the secured parking garage. There is also a movement room and athletic center with modern equipment.

If I could've gave this a 0 star review I would've. I highly recommend to NOT move here. Its not worth the money or the headache. You pay $75 a month for amenities when the only real amenity is the pool which is only open 3 months out of the year. $75 x 12 months = $900 a year for the pool. If you multiply 900$ a year per tenant (aprox 300-350 tenants) that is $270,000-$315,000 yearly spent just for the pool. Lets also talk about parking being 150$ per month. Per tenant that is $1800 per year. Multiply 1800$ per tenant a year x 300-350 tenants = aprox $540,000-$630,000. There is no security cameras or security in the parking garage. The garbage area is always a mess, and has mice running around near the garbage bins, which is located in the parking garage. To get in the parking garage is sometimes a hassle as well depending on if the garage reader monitor reads the monitor on your car dash, if not you have to move back and forward for it to finally comprehend. So its confusing why is it so much money when the amount being spent doesn't back up the quality of the service. Rent is already expensive here and there isn't any utilities included. Light is separate. You have to also pay for water, heat, gas, and air conditioning. By the time your done paying all the bills here, is there really much left to spend on your personal life? Another thing I can add is the hallways are noisy at night. If you live in the front of the building, its super noisy from UPS, school bus pickup/drop offs, landscaping (which they never send a warning email about) and the in and out from the building traffic. We aren't going to talk about staff because a novel can be written about how unprofessional and disorganized they are. Only thing they do keep up with is getting their money. I can go on about the cons of the Danforth but im sure the point was addressed. Do not waste your time moving here....

I would like to voice my concerns after 8 years of living at Danforth Apartments in Dobbs Ferry. All the managers are not qualified to be in the position because they never return your calls for weeks and hoping that you forget or other employees in the office do not allow you to speak with the manager. When I placed a call to speak with Victoria Milmore to discuss my lease she did not return my call for two weeks. When I called again she stated that she was too busy to address my questions. My rent will be increased $200 more a month if I renew my lease which is over 3% increase. Victoria was hesitant to provide any numbers that stated on my lease regarding annual rent increase percentage. I hope this review will be seen and addressed by an authority in the corporate office.

If you want to enjoy quiet and peaceful living, do not rent here. Noises from upstairs were a nightmare, literally. The construction of the building is cheap, and so any activity, even "normal" daily living, like walking, kids running, playing, dropping things, moving furniture, would be amplified and made so much worse through the thin, old, and uneven wooden floors. And management could not do anything about it, because the Danforth is really only about money, so they don't have a rug policy like many rentals in NYC which they can enforce, especially with noisy renters. When something happens, you are really at your neighbor's mercy. If you run into someone (like we did), who's rude and continues to thump and thud and bang doors every morning around 3a.m. and 5a.m., then your $5000 rent per month and your sanity is down the drain. I lost sleep every night for the past 3 months, and we were forced to get out and break the lease, which of course, considering it's the Danforth ($$$$$), meant a hefty "buyout" fee—we paid almost $10,000, and that's after the management has "kindly" halved the penalty because of what we experienced.PS Just saw Halley’s comments. Completely on point. “Elephant stomping” was exactly what we experienced on the third floor on a daily and nightly basis. How I wish I had read her post sooner.

I don’t live there. This review is as a visitor. The weird lady in the Lobby is rude and so lazy to help, she doesn’t even want to move!
Terrible first impression when you go visit.

Management is completely unprofessional. Lincoln Property Company needs to fire Victoria Milmore. She will look down on you and think she’s better than you. The property is slowly going downhill with this management team. For the price of the apartment, you will find much better options out there. Keep looking, don't settle for these apartments that don't offer much for tenants for the price. There are better locations that feel welcoming and truly care about their tenants. Avoid at all cost!!! They don't care about you and are rude. Communication is terrible, and they need to replace Victoria.

Management is rude, especially Victoria. She is meant to be the senior manager on the grounds and yet, she is the worst person I have spoken to at the main office. The grounds are nice, the apartments are okay - not worth the price - but if you require being treated with respect by the person in charge, this is not the building for you!

While looking to possibly relocate out of NYC this has a very nice look once in. Beautiful amenities and convenient to highways too close to highways that is located essentially in a parking lot of a shopping center just off the Saw Mill. If this was by the river inDobbs Ferry it would be worth the asking price, but where it's located over priced. Thus the 4 star as a " Nice try" gesture.

I cannot say enough about what a wonderful experience I've had living at The Danforth for the past two years. I love my apartment, with all its modern amenities, huge windows that bring in natural light, spacious cabinets, tall ceilings... and! this is a great dog-friendly place. The staff in the management office as well as the maintenance team are incredibly friendly, responsive and helpful. Plus they do fun things for the tenants throughout the year!I've always felt safe here. I knew I was home from the moment I walked in the building as there was always a lovely scent infused throughout. Uniquely theirs.I highly recommend The Danforth.
