1 Echo Hills Rd, Dobbs Ferry“Nice place, it's been two years since I was there, the house where I was is called "Bradish" I hope one day to be able to find a job there, I send you my regards, I'm really sorry, I forgot your names and Mr. G, who is my namesake I send you greetings, without a doubt, the best teacher. I thank you very much for the advice you gave me when I was there. I only have this year left to graduate from high school. I thank God that 4 days ago I obtained my work permit and social security. God willing maybe I will go to visit Children village in December.”
“I had the incredible opportunity to serve as one of the lead teachers at Give Chances Organization, and it has proven to be an immensely valuable experience witnessing each student receiving support in their education and volunteers gaining various leadership and teaching experiences. Collaborating with both students and volunteers has enabled me to cultivate various transferable skills, including effective communication, attention to detail, and problem-solving. I am excited to witness further academic and personal growth in more students.”
“Girl Scout Troop 2812 was so happy to bake cupcakes for the guests at the RMH in Valhalla. Their entire "House" is extremely clean. We loved using their kitchen to bake with our Junior troop, of 10 year olds. Susan at the front desk made it such a pleasant experience, with quick and easy check-in. We can't wait to volunteer again! We will definitely be back to help. :-)”
“We had absolutely the best customer experience we FM got in a long time. My wife and I went for an international driving permit and the place of full of people waiting to be served. The whole team in the office was efficient, courteous and even offered suggestions regarding our trip, thanked us for being AAA member for many years and got us out in less than 25 mins including taking our passport size pictures. I did not even tell them that we were AAA members. Hats off to the entire team.!!!”

“I was driving past and a beautiful pillow in the window caught my eye and I had to go in. This place is a treasure chest of great items for gifts for others and a few for myself! The woman that helped me the first time I stopped in was so pleasant and welcoming that I had to go back again! You will not be disappointed to make a point of stopping in.”
“The true care and compassion shown to us by Evelyn, Debra, Tina, Michelle (Aide) and Barbara (Nurse) was incredible. They allowed my mother to pass in the comfort of her home of 35 years, holding my Dad's and my hand as she took her last breath. It is the greatest privilege bestowed upon us. These ladies of Hospice are true angels on earth and we couldn't be more thankful to each of them, but, especially Barbara. You make a difference in everyone's life, Barbara. Never forget that!”
“I've adopted 2 cats at HSW and have gotten to know them better through their TNR program. We are so lucky to have them caring for the animals, they all do the best job and have amazing and dedicated volunteers.”
“Almost each day there are new & interesting items to choose from. There is much to look at, take your time walking through the store, you may miss a gem. Friendly & helpful staff. Worth the trip.”
“Marc is the best!! He will answer all of your questions. There are five marked trails with maps. There is a pond and places to sit and watch nature at it's best. You'll forget there is a shopping center a half mile away. Go. Go now.”
“We worked on a project with our church Saint Mary’s orthodox church from the Bronx . Wonderful learning experience working on a two family home for a prospective low income family in Chappaqua.”
“The staff is very friendly and eager to help. You can drop off donations at any time. There is a drop off point in the lower parking garage. It's the first right as you pull in the driveway. Go to the main entrance at any time of day or night to get a receipt for your tax purposes. The main entrance is located on the second entrance on the right up the main driveway. The Salvation Army also offers adult rehabilitation.”

20 Puffin Way, Teaneck“Nice place to go for a walk and clear your mind. Lots of birds and other wildlife can be heard and seen. There is a trail making it suitable for children and seniors as well. The best time to come here is in Autumn. They did some environmental restoration renovations but I'm unsure as to what exactly those positive changes were.”
“My Friend just Celebrated their 25th Wedding Anniversary on a Saturday Night. Beautiful Venue to Host a Party or a Wedding Reception. Ample Parking and access to the Entrance. I attended on Crutches and realized that they do have a Ramp leading straight into the Hall on the Right Side of the Building. Nice Setup.. There's an area for a Bar and Food Service Station. The Music System has to be Provided by your personal DJ or Band.Very Nice Over All Experience.Thank You ?”
“Beautiful on summer nights, lovely atmosphere and view of the Sound and the boats. The Gazebo is a lovely place. When you daydream while you see the full moon, consider how Einstein used to gaze at that same moon. Pretty cool. Nice place for a walk, and for walking and dreaming out loud, with best friends.”
“Beat headstart in the bronx . I went as a little girl back in the early 2000’s now my son is going and I just love it . Of course it isn’t the same because of the pandemic a lot of things have changed . But the garden , the fresh fruits and veggies the kids grow . The interaction is amazing . They also help with potty training if your child still hasn’t learned they guide the child which I loved ! My son loves going to school he also had a hard time eating . He was super picky but now he eats everything and anything . The snacks and meals are really healthy. The kids get nap time , and they have they’re own gym and park so no need to be traveling no where . I just love how safe and comfortable I feel with leaving my son. He’s really my whole heart and for any little accident or booboo I get notified right away. I’m super happy that I got the opportunity to enroll my son in KHCC. Don’t wait or think it twice like “oh I won’t leave my child no where” lol I was the sameeee and listen ! The teachers who taught me at 3 and 4 are now the directors and supervisors , that just goes to show! Love love love love love !!!! I’ll always recommend KHCC to all of my friends ♥️”

77 Executive Blvd, Elmsford“My kids have been participating in shows (Jellybeans through Workshop & Lab) for the past 6 years. It is consistently the activity they look forward to each week. I am amazed what they can put together in 10 weeks. And, the organization is awesome! You know exactly when & where you need to be for every rehearsal before you sign up. The instructors are all extremely talented, patient & so enthusiastic. They are the best!”
“The New Dawn Foundation is a phenomenal organization that provided our spiritual group a space to host a retreat on Kabbalah. We rented the venue for just the weekend, and the volunteers (particularly Nnacy) who run this organization were very prompt to reply to any and all questions I had about the space leading up to our event. We comfortably hosted 14 people in the space, although this worked well because we knew each other going in and had a few couples sharing beds.Thank you New Dawn for all the work you all do in order to create affordable opportunities for young adults like us to engage in spiritual retreats! At the end of our time together participants went around in a Circle and shared gratitude, and so many people included the venue as something they were grateful to experience over the weekend. Can't recommend this venue enough. I'm attaching a sketch that one of our retreat participants drew of the stunning sunrise.”
“PROS: The people in here are nice and it's very clean and organized. they have many sections to choose from that range for people of all ages. CONS: They only accept cash up to $25 and parking is limited to street parking. It's also cramped inside overall: if you were in the area you should stop on in. Their prices are low for some items and high for others, just depending on what you're looking for as well”

“Very nice community center which offers a ton of services for the neighborhood. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Prices are resonable for their services.”
“We have had a wonderful experience with our two children at HBMS. Our son is part of the Honors Program and along with our younger daughter has attended the Summer Arts Program for years. Whether it's private instrument instruction, Musicianship classes or chamber music and orchestra, we have always had incredible teachers and a tremendously positive and supportive atmosphere. It is very inspiring to see such elite musicians show such kindness and patience to every child from the youngest beginners. HBMS is a truly special place!”
“I can't speak to the details of the work that the organization performs, but I appreciate that they accept a wide variety of medical supplies, that they make the donation process simple, and that they are friendly and accommodating to people dropping off to donate. Recommended if you have something to donate in NYC area!”
“This is a fantastic organization. I've seen them in action since being introduced to them when I was in high school. Please support them in any way you can. The manager has always been wonderful and I've been able to donate many prepacked kits and non persishable snacks and bottles of drinks needed for groups to go out on runs.As a side note this is a tiny donation center managed by a very small staff. They need very specific items or groups of volunteers for the specific mission they fulfill. They are not a dumping ground for things you dont want and can't accept donations of items that can't be handed directly to a person experiencing hardship on the street, literally in the middle of the night. If you aren't sure or need a person to be available to accept your donation, email them ahead to check. The office is often staffed by people experiencing hardship and in need of work. The manager is running it with very little staff. Please don't be nasty and post rude reviews. It's a charity, not a commercial chain store. They aren't there to make you feel like you got good customer service, they're there to serve a community of people in crisis.”
