It amazes me that a cashier can cancel your transaction and when you ask her why she did she said I had to. Then my transaction was charged twice. Funny nobody wants to cash you out until your mid transaction. Now I'm overcharged and she tells me I have to come back to the store. Uhhh. Maybe you shouldnt cancel people's transactions if you do t know what you're doing. I wish alden would get a different store. Tops is always my last resort. Only if I have to go there Ido.

This Tops is independently owned and it shows. Their customer service, deli, and checkout stink!!! My husband was at the deli yesterday and 3 workers were behind the deli counter. Only 1 person was waiting on customer and the other 2 just stood there and were talking. Since it was busy he did the rest of his shopping and returned 15 minutes later. The line was busy and those same 2 ladies were still talking (standing in the same place 15 minutes later.) They had not moved. My husband was very upset at this kind of service. When he was served, he loudly thanked the woman that was working. The 2nd woman behind the counter turned around and said “we have other work too do you know” Really terrible customer service. Also, the past 3 times we have shopped and went to a cashiers have told us they don’t have to bag our groceries. We have had it with this store!!! We normally shop at Wegman’s for our weekly food and this Tops for small items as they are close. But enough is enough, even though other Tops are out of the way, we will make that trip. You won’t see us there anymore. Too bad as it’s a neighborhood store

I've been a customer at this store for a long time. Everyone is always very nice. Recently though the man in customer service was very rude and darn right mean. I will avoid him in the future. Never going to him for help again.

Tops is literally the best possible company anyone could ever work for. I am shocked that they only have 3.9 stars here on Google, Tops deserves way more stars than that so I thought I'd leave a great review. I have been an employee here at Tops for over 3 years and it is literally the best job I ever had so far. All the managers and supervisors are extremely friendly and very flexible when and if I need time off for school or for whatever it may be. All my co workers are very nice and love to joke around with me. I couldn't ask for a better place to work.

This store is really looking rundown the carpets in entrance are so dirty and worn cracked tiles throughout the store really needs a hood overhaul and the produce tends to be rotten

Our experience at Tops this evening was absolutely unacceptable. An issue arose in the checkout line with a customer who was purchasing food items/gift cards with EBT and cash. The transaction couldn’t be processed for an unknown reason and Joe the MOD was called to assist. Instead of taking charge and attempting to solve the problem he shrugged his shoulders, stood by and WATCHED as the situation divulged into an utter mess. A younger male employee shortly thereafter attempted to help remedy this issue, as the single checkout line now accumulated 6 other shoppers. He could not solve the issue at hand either and became visibly irate. He began hitting the POS system with his fist and repeatedly cursing. After what seemed like an eternity someone was finally intelligent enough to call for another cashier and open an adjacent register. There are two issues here: #1 An employee should never become violent or vulgar, no matter the circumstance. #2 Your MOD either lacks the proper skills to handle operations or they don’t care. The staff at this location needs an honest re-calibration whether it be at a district level or corporate.

Came home with two items that expired over a month ago…receipt blew away in the parking lot. So frustrating, especially with the cost of groceries…shame on you Tops.

This Tops never seemed over crowded, though it's hard to find the things you're looking for and even harder to find a worker to ask. Other than that, I like the way the cashiers are super nice, along with the other workers you happen to run into.

Lots of inventory on the well stocked shelves at this Tops store. Good selection on all items. The prices are good especially on the sale items. The staff were friendly.

I've found that tops only saves money if you buy what is posted in the weekly ad that's mailed out. Everything else is super expensive (the quality is good, but not amazing) if you only buy what's in the ad you will save money. Giving a one star review because they don't sell car parts. I wanna buy a carburetor and deli meat all in one stop. They also don't sell bell bottom pants, and I need those to get my funky groove on white boy.
