Chose Don's to start my security career. Took the 8hr pre-assignment and 47hr firearms course so far. On the schedule for the 16hr on the job training course. So far the experience has been nothing but outstanding. The instructors all with a varying background kept the usually monotonous, however very important material engaging. Very safety focused and serious, yet interesting and engaging throughout. 100% recommend Don's.

All instructors are ProfessionalThey do a fabulous training.... I will Recommend you just go there. Do not aske any thing else just go there to take your courses and you will appreciate them....YES I WILL RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE

If you want to take your NY pistol permit 16 hour class, go here over anywhere else! The course was very well put together and informative, and the written test and live fire training was super easy too. Don't be deterred by all the new training requirements. Highly recommend Don's Security Services and will consider going back for additional training.

I give this place 5 stars because I was scheduled to complete a training course here. Unfortunately, I was unable to make it. I paid the requested fee when I initially booked the training. Once I found out that I couldn't attend the training, I immediately reached out to request a refund. My request for a refund was given without any hesitation. The young lady I spoke to was very pleasant.

I took there most recent class and of course yes I passed! The owner Don was very nice and forward but his coworker Vinny honestly was laid back and lazy! One of the main problems I had there was the receptionist Pam she does not pick up phone calls or return them in a reasonable time. The class I took they had other instructors helping them former retired police officers who were cool at first, I believe one of there names was Ken. He was very helpful in the beginning but towards the last day of class there jokes were a little racial and personal to me that he laughed and may had thought it was funny but it was racial. I'm grateful I passed due to my worth ethic but if your a minority I truly don't recommend this place in all honesty.
