“Lots of fun with grandkids, it’s like the old 5 & dime stores of yesterday. Plenty of interesting items to browse. Lots to shop for all ages. We go with our grandkids once or twice a year, they love the toy section and riding the automatic horse for a dime!”

“Very well stocked halal meat and fish store! I found everything on my list for groceries, and snacks too and they gave the freshest, leanest meat, chicken and ground beef I've ever bought! The owners were SO nice, and they even packed the order in separate bags for me and gave my son freebies chips and water, too! Well worth our 1 hour drive. God Willing will definitely be back here!”

“Parkside Candy is a delightful place to visit. The decor provides a step into ice cream parlors of the past! The sea salt caramel with toffee was one of the best ice creams I have ever tasted!

Usually a sale of some sort going on for the bills clothes! The owner is so happy and bubbly and helpful! The other staff is very friendly and helpful as well! Gloria helped me a lot! “Coming from out of town I had to try sponge candy, which I have never had before. So good, texture is way crispier and different than I expected. I personally enjoyed the orange sponge candy more than the milk chocolate. It’s a little expensive, but worth a try if you’ve never had it before. About $15 for a half pound of sponge candy(roughly $1 a piece). Glad I got to try this west New York staple.”
“Buffalo is blessed with fantastic chocolatiers. Each one can put his own spin on their candy. When you walk into a chocolate shop it is a religious experience. You aren't there to buy a box of chocolate and rush out the door to Wegmans. You are there to celebrate the masters of their craft. So Mr. Cork sniffer, is Parkside the best? It might be. Watson's is also my favorite. I'll just stick to talking about sponge. Parkside has the thinner sponge pieces. I might favor that format. But they both are kings. You can love two things the best, right? You have to be aware that sponge is delicate. So is the chocolate too. Maybe you kept it too long. Maybe, god forbid, there is a bad piece. Like mold on cheese, sediment in the wine, and grizzle in the steak - sometimes it has flaws. But Buffalo sponge is a treasure. Thank your lucky stars the place exists. Now go buy some!”
