I don’t know what everyone is talking about, the staff have been absolutely nothing but polite and helpful to me. Sounds to me like people are bringing an industrial amount of recyclables to a little local shop when they could just as easily go to the grocery store across the street (which would be the place to go for larger returns)

The younger staff are actually pretty nice. But the owner is disrespectful and nasty. You can tell hes a miserable man and an arrogant human being. Making nasty comments and mumbling annoyances. Don't give this establishment any of your business I know I will never be coming back here.

I regularly come here to return bottles and occasionally buy beer. In my last several visits they have become increasingly hostile, with an employee today asking me "don't you have anywhere else you can take these" when I arrived with empty bottles and the same employee saying to me "return them to the store where you bought them next time" when my transaction was finished. Incredibly and unnecessarily rude.

This place used to be great, but I had a horrible customer service experience there this week. Who I presume was the owner was rude at checkout, mumbling about how I picked out single cans (wake up, they’re more expensive that way and not everyone wants all 4 packs) then was trying to say he doesn’t take Discover for a $107 transaction with some colorful language. Even though his system does in fact take it. Just a bad experience and I’ll never go back, except to return all my empties and not buy anything, which he hates and has been equally rude to friends of mine for as well. Find other places to buy your craft beer but bring all your empties here for sure

Check bottle dates before you buy. Proceed with caution - staff can be unpleasant. Beware paying full price for something well past its freshness date.

This place isn’t the greatest if you’re looking for selection. I’ve only been here once because I thought about getting a bottle of wine at the last second. I quickly went into this shop and realized they didn’t have a lot to choose from. There were also boxes all over the ground and tons of bottles with dust all over them. AND the prices were higher than the shop right down the road.

Was there recently and mentioned to Owner(Jimmy) that his Stone/Alex Smith beers were dusty and old. He was annoyed and said they will stay there until someone buys them. I guess he does not know dates on premium ales.

I've recently moved to Delmar and was pleased to see that they have Heineken Zero in the cooler. Today the guy behind the counter made a comment about me being in a rush to buy a case of Zero and that it was cold. IDK what his point was, if you don't want to sell cold Zero don't put it in the cooler.

I've been going here for over 7 years to return my bottles and cans and every time I've turned around and spent the money on more beverages.My empties are always counted before I get there, never any issues.Now they have a 300 each limit, never had a limit before.I had almost $50 worth tonight, all counted and I planned to spend it there. Kid working could have cared less.Done spending money here.

Returned some bottles to this place, the owner of the place is very rude and ignorant to paying customers. Was mumbling under his breath about it being unreasonable how many bottles we brought back. Just do your job

Staff is very rude. They have a large selection of specialty beers but not very helpful. The owner was very condescending. When I only brought in returns he looked at me with disgust and tried to berate me for not buying anything. Would not recommend this place with its new ownership. The old owner was great but the new owner and staff have ruined this place. Very disrespectful and rude to customers. If zero stars were an option this place would get it.
