I haven’t had any problems with this Walgreens until now. I called days in advance in regard to a refill which I was told will be ready in 30 mins. I then called the next day to be told that the refill was never filled but it would be in 30 mins. I then drive over there for them to let me know that this medication is out of stock. They never answer the phones, I was routed to someone who wasn’t even in Ny or the physical store who then had to connect me to someone in the store. The lady I spoke to was very rude and did not reassure me that I would be getting my medication that I called in advance for and desperately need. I told them each time that I need this medication as I will be going away and if I do not get it, I will be very sick. It’s like a sick joke, the lady that I spoke with even hung up the phone on me. If anything happens to me, Walgreens will be paying for my funeral. Walgreens needs to hire more people,
And people with some compassion at that. This is ridiculous , these are people’s lives in your hands that you all are playing with. Hire people who can do the job and pay them. God forbid one of their family members go through what I am so that they’ll know how it feels. Do better!!!!

The pharmacy never answers the phone. Every time I call, I sit on hold for 10 minutes and then get disconnected. I’ve personally seen the pharmacy staff pick up the phone and immediately hang it up while standing at the counter. Most of the pharmacy staff are rude and the line is always long.

Came to Walgreens to have a photo enlarged. While sitting at the kiosk, I realized I really didn’t know how to do it. Agatha, the store employee, came right over and made it look so easy. She also took the time to find me a coupon for a great savings. Can’t say how thankful I was and how easy she made my job. Thank you!!

Their phone service is the worst. I have been on hold on numerous occasions with them for prolonged periods of time and after waiting the phone rings and then disconnects. All I was trying to do is find out if a medication was in stock. Someone eventually did pick up said they had to transfer me to a different department and when that department picked up they said they were going to check and then proceeded to disconnect, again. They need a better system. If I could give a negative star review I would because they do not deserve the 1 star.

Every-time i get a acetaminophen prescription the pharmacy does there best not to fill it and advise me just to take over the counter Tylenol. Please Walgreen pharmacy Techs, stop misdirecting people and just fill the script. They always start off like this. "your insurance does not cover it" ok then i will pay for it. " well its over the counter Tylenol". If my Dr wanted me to take OTC Tylenol who would of advised me of that an not write a script. Walgreens you will always be 2nd place to cvs and I know why. Terrible customer service in that pharmacy. Your job is to take the order and process it, not to give advice.

The employees are good natured and helpful, but this place is sorely understaffed for the volume of customers they serve. Walgreens and CVS wipe out local pharmacies and leave us with no choice but to deal with over worked (and probably underpaid) employees, long lines, and frequently out of stock meds. This is 2023, why can’t someone do better?

Kept me waiting 20 minutes for prescription. When I went to the counter was told my prescription not ready and should wait another 20 minutes.

almost always have my medications in store. Open 27/7 is real helpful.
