I bought a 2016 Land Rover LR4 from Oceanside Auto Center wholesale through Manheim PA auto auction. Their cars tend to have a high score cosmetically but this LR4 has a timing chain rattle for which I submitted a video to the auction. I try to do business honestly, I tried reaching out to the seller to cover some of the cost but no response. I had Manheim contact him and his response was that "that's a inherent Land Rover noise" and he sees it all the time decline to help with the cost, typical "big shot" response. If their vehicle was ran through an auction with an announcement of engine rattle it would do thousands less on the auction block. Land Rover dealer told me it was a timing chain and I am willing to do the repair at an independent shop for the cost of $3400 all I ask the seller is to pay half but he denied any responsibility. Beware buying wholesale or any way from this seller, if I paid top dollar for this car, it's more than fair from him to pay half. I understand that he may have been stuck with this car by someone else but if you shine it up a little and get all the money for it and then deny responsibility you are a shady businessman.

Have recently purchased a fine auto from this business without any hiccups. You can always find good cars and you can always find decent pricing; But Scott and the team provide you with that and so much more ! I recently purchased a used vehicle from Select Motor Cars. Unfortunately, upon a random inspection of the vehicle after purchase, it was noticed that the vehicle had a fairly significant issue. Panic struck in immediately as it should with most dealerships after a transaction is completed. With Select Motor Cars, fear not. Scott the sales person that I dealt and the owner Michael are consummate professionals who have been in the game a long time. They took the vehicle back with no questions asked and eliminated my worst fears of being stuck with a car that was not up to snuff. You guys are honest and trustworthy and I wholeheartedly am grateful for your treatment!
