“Assalamo Alaikum bhi.3:30 pm today I bought beef and if you see the cc photage, the butcher can clearly be seen cleaning nose with back of the hand. I appreciate your hallal service but please please train staff for hygiene along side hallal. Hallal means also best hygiene practices as Hazoor PAK taught us.I have been buying meet from Maharaja and other hallal places they use good quality tissue to clean nose water and never give an impression if meet was touched with nosy hands or sneezed upon. Please take my suggestion and boost your sale. Only because of this reason I buy it somewhere lease. Last time I personally complained the brother there but rather he used insulting words and told me not to make a purchase (buy some where else).Please bother to fix this issue and help Muslim community best hygiene in your store please pleaseI did not have any other way to reach you. “I have never been to a butcher shop and this is the first time I have ever been to one. I met Joe the owner and he was fantastic. He explained exactly what meats I should get and how I should cook them and at what temperature. He explained everything in a manner that I could understand. Not only that he gave me a few stuffed mushrooms for my first time purchase. The customer service is absolutely amazing here. Every time that I need to purchase meat I will not go anywhere but here. Thankyou so much for your amazing service.”

I have honestly not been to a butcher/ meat store like this before and had no idea what to order or how to order. The person that helped me gave me suggestions, toldMe his favorite, how to cook it, and then wrapped them so I could cook some and freeze some. After following his directions I will say the NY Strip I cooked was PERFECT and one of the best pieces of meat I've ever had. I will definitely be back next time I need to get a high quality piece of meat!”

“Wound up finding this business on Google because they carry A5 waygu cuts. I wound up calling in and speaking to a nice gentleman who answered my questions. Wound up driving 30 miles the next day to pickup a waygu strip and prime aged and the owner and his son were super friendly. They thanked me for my business and taking the drive out to them as well. They understand how to treat people and offer great steaks!!!”

“I have been going to Mathews Meats for probably 20 years. Moved from the neighborhood 3.5 years ago to Nassau and still go back. A family run business. The nicest people to deal with. If you don't see it ask! If you have a question....Ask! They will go out of their way to help you. Best Greek foods without having to go to Astoria! And the souvlaki's are to die for. Highly recommend.”

“The gentleman at the meat department are very nice. About 2 weeks ago, I asked about pork loin to make pulled pork and they didn't have much on display. Even though this person was extremely busy, I interrupted him nicely and he made me the most beautiful pork loin. I can't recall if it was 3 lbs but it was under $10!! The one I was going to choose was 5 lb. It had a lot of fat on it and it was $22 and it was lesser quality of pork. I wish I asked for his name. Because I wanted to thank him for his excellent service.”

It's good to have a coupon or to know what's on sale before you go! I would say moderate to High+ in price but you're getting Great cooked meals, penne alla vodka, all kinds of prepared pizzas & pastas freshly made. Great homemade sauces. The freshest mozzarella. Also.. a very cheerful atmosphere during the holidays
