Maximum K9 changed our puppy from a fearful, reactive, defiant dog to a confident, well-mannered, GOOD BOY with the Board & Train program. Katie and the team have been fantastic and are still helping us after Drogo has been home. Special shoutout not only to Katie, but Kayla and Will also. Drogo loves and misses all of you!
Drogo is an 8-month Cane Corso puppy. When I arrived at the store to drop him off for training, Drogo was lunging and growling at every person who entered. It was dangerous and not to mention embarrassing. I’ve had to leave other dog-friendly places because of the same awful behavior. What a mess we were.
When I returned to Maximum K9 for a demo after 2 weeks, Katie and Kayla trained me with Drogo and then took us into the same store, this time more bustling and crowded than at drop-off. Drogo and I were able to walk around calmly, he was not reactive at all, and I was able to put him into a down position and he stayed. It was like I was seeing a DIFFERENT DOG! Wow!
I could go on and on with examples and stories and I honestly can’t say enough great things, but the bottom line is that this was one of the best decisions we’ve made and we had an amazing experience. Drogo is a GOOD BOY and he was loved and well cared for by all of the staff. I am now confident and proud to walk with Drogo. I highly recommend Maximum K9 and we will be returning for ongoing classes. Thank you for teaching us and for loving Drogo. We will see you again soon!

I can’t say enough great things about Maximum K9! We recently sent our 8-month old puppy Drogo to Board & Train with Katie as our primary trainer. It was one of the best decisions we’ve made and worth the investment! Katie has been phenomenal and is still answering our questions on a daily basis. Katie, Kayla, and the rest of the team have been nothing short of amazing with training and taking care of him. Drogo has been home for just over a week and he is doing great. We (his humans) need most of the training at this point. Haha. I highly recommend Maximum K9 and will certainly be returning for ongoing training. Katie, Kayla, and the entire team at Maximum Canine Service have been absolutely phenomenal in training and caring for our young Rottweiler puppy, Brumble. As any Rottweiler owner knows, these pups can be quite a handful, but the Maximum Canine team rose to the challenge with impressive skill and dedication.
From day one, they understood Brumble's unique needs as a Rottweiler puppy and tailored their approach accordingly. Their extensive training program was conducted with remarkable diligence, care, and persistence. Even when Brumble was at her most demanding, the team never wavered in their commitment to her development.
What truly sets Maximum Canine Service apart is their blend of professionalism and genuine love for the animals in their care. Katie and Kayla, in particular, showed incredible patience and understanding, always taking the time to explain their methods and progress to us.
The results speak for themselves. Brumble has made tremendous strides in her behavior and obedience, all while maintaining her playful puppy spirit. It's clear that the team's persistent efforts and positive reinforcement techniques have paid off.
We're incredibly grateful for the hard work and dedication of the Maximum Canine Service team. They've not only trained our puppy but have also equipped us with the tools and knowledge to continue her development at home.

We took our 4 year old hound/shepard mix pup to Maximum K9 for training, the board and train program. This is the first time we did a board and train, and I must admit we were a little concerned about leaving him for so long. How lucky could we be to get Morgan for his trainer. Her passion and love for dogs is at the top of the chart!!
She combines tough love with compassion, and tailors her training based on knowing how our Cooper will best adapt and learn. He now knows and reacts to commands, which helps with his social behavior. When we started the program he was very anxious with new situations, other people, and other dogs. The program exposed him to all of this. It helped him to understand that he can trust 'his person' has his back. Morgan taught us, too! She gave us the tools to work with and 'trained' us to reinforce the commands and actions we want to reward.
Its a continuous process, but without Morgan's help we would not have progressed this far. She is a real gem! Even after we completed the board/train program, she did check-ins to see how we were all doing. Her suggestions and guidance have always been extremely helpful!
THANK YOU Morgan and Maximum K9. We'll be back for the Lifetime classes. Maximum K9 is lucky to have Morgan, she is top notch!

There is nothing more to say, than Maximum K9 is absolutely amazing! If you are on the fence about signing up for any type classes just do it, you will not be disappointed. I HIGHLY recommend you request Morgan as a trainer. Morgan was so patient with our little man Bruce and gave us the tools and knowledge to keep working with him at home. I can’t say enough good things about Morgan and Maximum K9 over all!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - Excellent Training and Care!
I cannot recommend Maximum K9 highly enough! From the moment we walked in, we felt completely confident that our dogs (Oona and Esme) were in great hands.
The progress our dogs have made in a short 4 week timeframe was remarkable. They worked on sit, place, heel, leash manners, obedience, socialization to name a few and it was incredible to see the difference when they were brought home. Not only did they come back trained, but extremely happy.
The bond they formed with Katie and Kayla was pretty cool to watch and I have never been around better trainers. They updated us regularly with texts, videos and photos, so we could see how they were doing, which was a huge relief and brought us peace of mind.
The facility itself is clean, safe, and well-organized, with plenty of room for exercise and play. It’s clear they put a lot of care and effort into creating an environment that dogs can thrive in.
If you’re looking for a place to help train your dog and treat them like family, look no further than Maximum K9.

I came to Maximum K-9 after adopting my second dog within a year. With two dogs in the home, it became obvious to me that I needed help training them. From the initial consultation to the very last session, it was a great experience. We trained with Morgan, who is an incredibly knowledgeable trainer. More importantly, she is patient and skilled with teaching others. Each session my dogs showed progress and learning, way beyond my expectations. Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Lucy (almost one year old Bernedoodle) just spent three weeks with Maximum K9 and has come back to us a different dog. Rosemarie did a great job as her lead trainer. Lucy was a very energetic dog who pulled on the leash, counter surfed and jumped on people. She is no longer doing those bad habits. I would recommend Rosemarie and Maximum K9 to anyone looking for dog training.

Joe and RoseMarie at Max K9 are master dog trainers - we boarded our lab for the 4 week program, worked with them in 4 demos and our baby is the best behaved dog we’ve ever had! Of course, we need to stay consistent and continue to work with him, but we now have the confidence to execute our training program thanks to Joe and Rosemarie. I wholeheartedly recommend them!

Our dog was anxious and very difficult to walk in Manhattan and tough to control. A great guy, but more than a handful. Maximum canine was recommended to us by a friend, and we did a six week board and train with Katie, who is absolutely a lifesaver. Our dog is home and is amazing. Happy and confident. This is been a huge gift for all of us! Thank you to Katie and Max canine..: could not be happier!!

Katie was amazing! We felt so lucky to have her be Marty's trainer. She was amazing at dealing with Marty and with us. Marty learned so much and seems like a totally changed dog! We can't thank her and Maximum Canine enough.

My dog Kano did levels 1 and 2 with Toki. Toki is amazing!! Soo funny and she’s so caring towards the dogs and their parents. She’ll stay after class if you have a question. I wish she did privates. The classes are great! Very organized and really helped Kano with his basic obedience skills. Toki recommended a prong collar and during class let me borrow 1 to make sure I’m using it correctly before purchasing 1 from their gift shop.

Rosemarie and the Maximum K9 team has made a huge difference in the way that our Standard Bernedoodle acts, walks on a leash, behaves, and listens. It is night and day from the time we dropped her off for board and train to when we picked her up. I would highly recommend Rosemarie and anyone at Maximum to train your dog!!
