I had a bad experience with another company when they installed my generator and switched to LIEP and I couldn’t be happier. The techs who come to change the oil and service my generator couldn’t be nicer or more professional. I’m so glad I made the switch.

Very attentive and thorough work . Long Island Power was hired to install a full home generator. There were leaks in our gas lines and new lines had to be installed by plumbers. Mike explained the details and we were guided through the process. We appreciated the total attention given to the complexity of the task.
Thank you Anthony and crew. We can now confront the winter without the anxiety that we previously faced.
In addition, Kelly was very responsive to my questions when I called the office. Information given was always courteous and accurate.

I purchased a new whole house generator from this company in January of 2020. It broke down after 30 hours of use. It has been down since July. I have tried effortlessly for them to fix it with only one reply. COVID 19. Which is bull. This thing is in a back yard. ( Mike was the only nice person to me) I purchased it locally so I can have them service It. ($5700) It was much cheaper elsewhere, so do a google search. They are 5 minutes from my house, and my corporation is right down the street from them. I only wish their service worked as good as my product which has been serving Long Island for 55 years and is most likely under their counter right now, and the employees that work there. I wish I purchased it elsewhere. Generac has been contacted, I told them I want it replaced. Not fixed.

My generator stopped working for months. Long Island Emergency Power did a great job fixing my generator. Friendly staff, professional work and good rates.

Terrible customer service, I called for a estimate and they told me December. When I returned their email saying I was ready for an install I never got a call back.

Outstanding customer service. My Generac generator malfunctioned during a power outage last night leaving me with no electricity. I contacted. LIPE and their tech, Tony, arrived to address the problem in 30 minutes. It was dark, midnight and raining. Under awful conditions, Tony did a major repair job and fixed my unit. His mechanical skills are outstanding. This was a difficult job, but Tony figured it out right away. He is a total professional. Most importantly, he cares about people. He said he would not leave my family without power until he had fixed my unit. That meant a lot to me. Indeed when Tony left my home at 3 AM.....the unit was fixed and the lights were back on! TEN STARS!

I support our local community businesses whenever possible and was very disappointed with LI Emergency Power. After speaking with the owner/ vice president about a request to replace my generator, I was told they would handle the full installation........ I hand-delivered a deposit check and was told the work would start in 1-2 weeks. Numerous telephones call later, I was finally told today, that the company only "services existing customers"........and that they would be returning my check. It would have been more appropriate to level set on day one and not over-promise.

Joann at LIEP was so understanding and kind when I needed an emergency service call. She calmed me down and her technician provided exceptional service. They had my generator back online within 1 hour and didn't take $ advantage of me. Overly fair and professional. I would recommend LIEP to anyone! Thanks!!!

I get a service 2 times a year. They’ve always been prompt with that. No problem if no ones home. They can do it just from the outside. When I needed service, they came immediately.

Top notch company! After Superstorm Sandy kept me without power for 2 full weeks I reached out to LIEP for a whole house generator. They were courteous and took the time to answer all my questions. Everything from the permits to the setup of the generator was first class! They provide bi-yearly maintenance at a reasonable cost. It was the best investment I made for my home!

I have a Generac 52411 10 KW generator. Called LIEW due to a persistent blown fuse problem. Ace electrician, Tony, came out in rainy weather, set up his golf umbrella over the generator and diligently worked to isolate the problem causing the fuse to blow which was tedious because the single fuse controls everything in the system. He finally pinned it down to a bad electrical choke solenoid which was a pain to replace due to its awkward attachment. He finally got the unit back on line and set the automatic exercise timer. A couple of days later I turned the unit off and reset the exercise timer as a "test" and it reset itself as expected. Tony did an excellent, professional job in spite of the annoying rainy weather and he should be highly recognized by LIEP management. A million thanks for a job well done.
