“Small antique mall with a wide variety of quality, mid-range items. Per-item prices between a few bucks and a few hundred. Not at all unreasonable. (Please bear in mind that this is an antique store - not a thrift store or flea market - in the Hamptons, so it's very good pricing, all things considered. And items are tagged, which is not necessarily a given at an antiques store.) In addition to the main space, there is a "barn" in back, plus there are a few items outside. It is somewhat tight quarters - typical antique/secondhand store - so it may not be physically accessible for everyone. Friendly employees. I'm quite happy with my finds and will definitely return the next time I'm in the area.”

“Such a fantastic shop! You could wander around appreciating all the antiques. The owner seemed so helpful and funny. I came for the coffee and it's such a cool little hidden find. The vanilla basil latte was the best latte I've had in a while. The ladies I loved them! So helpful and sweet. Definitely a stop when I'm in town!”

“I stopped into Ray New York on a whim this past Saturday, to peek at the displayed pottery. As I turned to leave, the owner, Michael, called out to me. We chatted for a little while about the painting in progress in the gallery--he does his work right there--and he sent me home with a print! I'm no artist, but I like what I see. Michael's nautical themes and gradations of blue put my mind at ease. I hope you'll get a chance to stop in to Ray--I think you will find something that strikes your fancy!!”

“I found Lydia's Antiques & Stained Glass to be an excellent antique shop but most importantly to be fairly priced. I bought two smaller pieces for about what I was expecting. While browsing and looking at many other pieces the fairness in what was being asked for the pieces was very nice to see. I've seen many, many other places (both real time shops and online) asking for much higher prices on many similar items spotted in this gem of a shop. Will absolutely return on my next visit.”

“What a beautiful, classy antique shop with lots of amazing items! In a city with a lot of competition, Ann Madonia definitely distinguishes itself with its unique, lovely merchandise and helpful salespersons. We are in the market for a hutch/china cabinet. We found an incredible one here - 19th century made of Mahogany with brass handles and a fold out drawer that serves as a bar. It was stunning. The five figure price tag was way out of our budget, but the sales lady was still interested in working with us and would come down in price. She showed us a desk and a dresser that would complement the piece. We were in love with all three. To name just a few other things they sell - they also had water pitchers, tables, lamps, sculptures and art. I found the art particularly lovely. I really wanted the wicker buffet server as an accent piece. I may go back and buy it... If you're antiquing in South Hampton, make Ann Madonia a sure stop on your agenda. You won't be disappointed.”
