I went to get my 20lb propane tank refilled here today because it stated outside this location that they provide the service and on Google. I left with an empty tank because even though the woman that greeted me was very nice, a separate elderly woman came to “assist me”. She had no idea how to do her job and even told me to take my tank back where it came from. My tank was a month old, with no issues and I shared this with her. She was rude & unprofessional, I definitely will not be returning.

These men and women are great. Such great service, ever time I’ve delt with them (which is more and more these days) they are honest, upfront and stand behind their good work. They don’t try to up sell me, instead the educate me on why I DIDN’T need the part now so I know what to look out for when I eventually did. They are great to deal with and super patient with me. I could tell something changed with the new owner because all kinds of fancy new a beautiful old cars (plus regular ones like mine) started showing up on the lifts. The mechanics can do anything. A real old school high quality place. I drive from several towns away to get my car worked on and for fuel. Amanda and Anthony have been great to deal with.

I moved to Croton in 2005 and have been a customer of J&E ever since. I have three high-mileage used cars, and have nothing but positive things to say about J&E and the service manager, Michelle. As one of many examples, we have a 2004 Acura MDX purchased at Acura of Bedford Hills. They told us once the warranty expired that that we needed over $3,000 of repairs. I took it to J&E, and Michelle only felt that one repair for $200 was required. Four years later and she was right!
