“We decided after a hike at Tea Town Lake Reservation around the corner to take a walk down the street when we saw the sign for the Cider Mill (less than a mile away)-we weren't sure what to expect or even if it would be open. Upon walking up the driveway the owner Jeff happened to be outside with his dog and opened up the small barn door for us even though I don't believe they were actually "open". It was such a nice and unexpected surprise! He could not have been nicer and more accommodating-he gave us an on the spot tasting of his entire repertoire of hard ciders which was over eight different types. He also talked to us about the process of producing the hard cider, a little history of the Cider Mill and I ended up buying a bottle to take home since it was so delicious. Each hard cider we tasted was delicious and I could see drinking these on a regular basis. I look forward to going back again one during the "season" and perhaps buying some more! I am also looking forward to getting some of the cider on tap at various locations across Westchester where it is currently being served. Anyone who is in the area it is absolutely worth a stop to this small and very charming Cider Mill-I believe the bottles are $25 each and the tasting was super fun!”
